There are numerous threads here on UFOs in dreams.
They are in our culture, our popular awareness... our phyches. And they are in our dreams.
It's a question of fact, though, what they are.
But knowing where they are, helps.
Part of the answer is: UFOs have apparently also ever been with us. They are very much a part of art, through the ages.

Many tribes from way back used dmt from ayahausca and I think they had visions of other entities.

There are quite interesting paintings, sketchings, and carvings that the ancients left behind. Some of them warrant pause and some pondering. They're all very fascinating nevertheless. Studying ancient cultural beliefs happens to be a passion of mine which is why this thread kind of stuck out. :lol:
