I think I have the flu.

I went to bed at 10:00 and woke up two hours later with hot flushes, nausea, and the feeling that I was going to throw up. It's horribly unpleasant and I was trying to cool myself off for the first few minutes, but then I ended up grabbing a bin and going to the washroom. I was in there for almost an hour in and out, and I'm still running to it, up and down the stairs. I haven't thrown up yet, but I have bad runs, I'm getting chills, and my stomach hurts.

Any tips on how to fix this? Because it's 2:00 here, I can't sleep, and I have to get up for school in a little over four hours. Although I'm not expecting replies right now, I'd appreciate anything at all.

But I can't. D: I tried sleeping but I started to get hot flushes.

      ...Maybe I'll try once more.

Force yourself to puke? It helps me clear the nausea in my stomach and I'll feel much better. Anyway it's a great excuse to skip school

Anyway take care and get well soon!

When I got swine flu I just felt faintly nauseous and fatigued for a day or two, and yes, sleeping is definitely the best remedy.

If you're struggling then obvious try taking some pills.

If it gets worse go see a doctor.

Managed to sleep last night, got four hours. This morning I'm doing better other than having no appetite and a tight stomach, so maybe it was food poisoning. I went to a barbeque yesterday and had mini doughnuts, which might have been the cause.

If you have the flu, don't go to school. You'll infect a bunch of other people and that would really suck for them.

No, I'm sure I don't have the flu. I went to the doctor and I didn't have a fever.
