      migranes suck!

So last night i had a migrane that was 100x's worse then my 2nd worst migrane i have ever had. I could not talk or think, could barely walk as i was stumbling all over the place. I felt like i was gonna barf, i felt like i was gonna fall unconscious, and i felt like i wanted to yell at the top of my lungs as loud as i could for as long as i could and then keep going all at the same time. It was owning my ASS!!!!!! anyone have anything similar or worse?

Up until my gallbladder was removed, I'd have leveling migraines when I ate certain foods. The pain was accompanied by a gut punch of stomach cramps. Now, I get few migraines, and the best trick is coffee when I feel it starting.

I'm sorry that must have been awful. I'm going to move this to health forum though.

I thankfully haven't but it did remind me of a documentry i watched some time ago:

Cluster headache - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The pain of cluster headaches is markedly greater than in other headache conditions, including severe migraines; experts have suggested that it may be the most painful condition known to medical science. Female patients have reported it as being more severe than childbirth.[4] Dr. Peter Goadsby, Professor of Clinical Neurology at University College London, a leading researcher on the condition has commented:

"Cluster headache is probably the worst pain that humans experience. I know that’s quite a strong remark to make, but if you ask a cluster headache patient if they’ve had a worse experience, they’ll universally say they haven't. Women with cluster headache will tell you that an attack is worse than giving birth. So you can imagine that these people give birth without anesthetic once or twice a day, for six, eight, or ten weeks at a time, and then have a break. It's just awful."

The only migraine ive had was mostly severe visual distortions followed by a day or so long very mild headache. I feel lucky, my brother used to suffer with migraines quite a bit when he was younger, they really do suck .

I get migraines at least 3-4 times a week. My doctor has me on some medication that you are suppose to take when you feel them coming on. I do fine, but there are the occassional moments when they just strike me and I had no warning so couldn't take my medication. When I get bad ones, my stomach rolls like I want to puke and I can't think straight. I say that I need to get a better medication and I hope that you find something that will help you as well. You are not alone..

      I had another bad one.

It was with me when i woke up, it lasted through me while i was working and i was gulping down pills to make them go away, i got home and then it REALLY hit me. It was snowing outside also! my temples and top of my head felt like they were ripping my head inside out, i could barely talk, by that i mean i made NO SENSE when i talked, i could not even go in a dark room and it stays dark, i swear to god the pitch black room was so friggin LIGHT! i even said "what the fuck this room is supposed to be pitch black, it's so fuckin light in here! this is not helping me at all....". I went for a walk outside in the freezing cold and snow twice around the block and then i tried to sleep but my head hurt SOOOO FUCKIN BADDDDDDD!!!!! i went out for a drive with the dad and felt a tiny bit better but not much, my head then felt like it was getting pinched HARD! i went out to burger king on the way home and could not eat the fries, or the burger, or the pop....i come home and my migrane gets even worse and i'm starting to whine for 10-20 minutes like a little school girl, i eventually get to sleep and wake up at 4am and my migrane is gone. I would say i am a tough guy, i can wear shorts in freezing temperatures and not get cold, i can take a beating and take it like a man, i can take pain EASILY and but when it comes to a migrane....i am like the wimpiest kid on the planet! i don't cry...i just WHINE! and sometimes moan...i almost barfed about 4 times. Seems like everytime i get a new migrane it gets more intensified everytime i get it...

Just as i write this i feel a tight pinch on the bone above my eye...i am getting a headache writing that i had a migrane the other night...LMAO! not the first time this has happened. Now that i am done writing this the pain in my bone above my eye is gone...

I should make a twitter account.....

That is probably what i get...they are EASILY the worst pains i have ever had, and it's not even CLOSE! and i get them all the time...2-4 times a week. Sometimes i feel like i wish i was dead then to feel this pain anymore. Not forever dead, more like dead untill the pain is gone then i can come back to life. Atleast that way i wont feel the pain anymore lol.

I know a guy who has cluster head aches. He says when he has them he wishs he was dead it hurts so bad. Try to cut wheat mostly out of your diet I've heard that gluten in wheat is the cause for 90% of migranes. He said he mostly stopped eating wheat and hasn't had one since.

I had a bad puberty. At age 13 literally every single day i had HUGE migranes....EVERY SINGLE DAY, 7 days a week 24 hours aday, not even sleeping or pills made it go away....for 1 full year! then they went away for like 7 years where i had 0 migranes/headaches, etc. literally for 0 days in that time. I'm weird, aren't i?

i felt the same one day. it was so hard in pain that i wanted to remove my brain where it is paining. i couldn't open my right eye, tears pouring, and heart rate increased. then i took paracetamol tablet which was there at home and it was ok after that. it lasted almost 30 mins long.

I got diagnosed tentatively with either Chronic Migraines or Cluster Headaches, with a stronger likelihood of the latter. The pain is tremendous when I get an episode, lasting 4 days on average. I am usually left useless and exhausted by the time it's over, and there's little relief except Treximet to block out the pain for that one headache, even though more follow it.
