"There are 128 ounces in 1 gallon. There are 4 quarts in a gallon. Divide 128 by 4 and you get 32. So there are are 32 ounces in 1 quart. Multiply 32 ounces by 2 quarts and you get 64 ounces in 2 quarts total."
My math sucks. I drink 6 16.9 ounce bottles of water every day.
16.9 x's 2 = 33.8 ounces. So 2 bottles would = one quart, right?
4 bottles would = 4 quarts which = 1 gallon? No, I see. 4 = 2 quarts. So 8 bottles would be 1 gallon?
Is that too much water?
Since drinking all this water, I've been getting horrible headaches which last pretty much all day. I normally only drink 52 ounces of Coke (probably closer to 40 ounces Coke after the ice). I don't get headaches from caffeine withdrawal so that's not the cause.
Should I build up to the amount I've been drinking? Or just live with the headaches until my body adjusts on its own?
Also, I'm peeing all the freagin time lol. I've been having intermittent kidney discomfort, though. Is that likely because my body is flushing out more toxins or because of increased fluid or?
Thanks :)
