Did you do any yesterday after that initial 62? I did a total of 250 yesterday. I wasn't planning on doing any today but after you posted this I really wanted to do 66. Ended up collapsing at 60 though. I was too worn out from yesterday. :pissed:
Tomorrow I'm taking both of you down. I'm gonna strip naked so that I cut down on weight, and i'll have eaten some energy bars and a coffee.

Haha I'm so jealous of how many you guys can do! Are you doing them quite quickly though? Cos I make mine relatively slow and hold at the lowest point.

I've done plenty of pushups in my life, and can manage about 40 consecutively atm (not as much as I used to be able to).
I'm totally gonna give this a go!

50 points, but it depletes your energy level by 5 points per push-up and leaves you vulnerable to attacks.
Well, I got improved uncanny dodge as a bonus feat so even when prone I get my Dex bonus to AC. The vulnerability isn't a problem. And I'll drink plenty of elixirs to keep my energy up.

I can't seem to do week 3 day 3, I just keep psyching myself out or something. I'm gonna go back and start from week three day one again. Max 20 today.
Stonedape, how many reps of 20 can you do? When I started I would do as many reps of 20 as I could in a day, and I'd try to do more reps everyday. I think you'll get a lot more out of it doing a lot of reps rather then only doing 5 like the program wants.
Maybe 8 at one time. I wanna try sticking with the program a bit, just to see if I can do it but I'll try that if it doesn't work oout, it sounds to me like a better way to build muscle. Maxed 30 today. I think another problem I have is that I'm not used to pushing myslef physically anymore, I've been fairly inactive for years.
I managed to pull that one off today but I did take an extra 30 seconds between sets cos I was a bit busy. I don't know if this will work for you but i try to concentrate on my wrists, otherwise I get caught up in my head and give up.
@Raspberry You're probably in the best place to see improvement right now. When you start from the very beginning at any exercise like this the results come in pretty quickly at first, so keep it up! :)

Today's progress
Week 3 Day 3
16, 21, 15, 15 and maxed out at 22 (could have done more but was in a rush!)
I've been doing the far right column, theres something about doing 30 or more that psyches me out so I did 30 today just to do it. I'll try focusing on my wrists, I usually focus on my arms around the elbows, I do notice that if I don't concentrate on my body I can't do nearly as many.
69 Slowly gettin' there, was hopin' for 70 though.
Topped out at 50 today, on my knuckles.
71 still improving! I tried to do some on my knuckles, but I'm doing them on concrete. Concrete+knuckles=pain
Wow impressive stuff people! I'm completely useless when it comes to knuckles!
I started week 4 of the program today and it killed me!
I think it was 18, 22, 16, 16 and I just about pushed myself to 25 for the last set. It gets easier to push yourself once you know it's possible I think!
