YAY! :D
A breakthrough! I hope things work out ok and you get back to normal soon.
As for your daughter, she probably is looking for attention. From my experience, anyone who self harms or has some sort of problem usually tries so hard to keep it quiet. I know I do! I cringe at the thought of my family and peers knowing what I do sometimes.
I mentioned to a friend recently about my depression last year, because they were wondering why I get counselling. I told him that I was depressed for awhile last year and he replied "No you weren't, you were completely fine!"
I had to explain to him that it was a mask so that no one asked questions. Though some people did notice and said that I was kinda like a zombie walking through school. But they're glad I'm back.
@Salty: Is there a reason you can't be with her? :( It sounds like romeo and juliet! (I love that play). If you really, really love her why not talk to her about it?
Though obviously I don't know the situation you guys are in. But if someone was saying the things you were saying but about me I'd probably pounce on them and never look back lol
