Is Second Hand Smoke Bad for You? | Healthmad |
|
I can't click on the link right now, but... Yes? It's been common knowledge for fifty years. And Nina certainly has a point of the annoyances of it on top of the health risks |
|
Basically the link just questions the validity of...2(?) studies which claim that second hand smoke is dangerous. It says that a study found that kids who are subjected to second hand smoke are less likely to develop lung cancer. I find that incredibly difficult to believe. The source is very questionable, it sounds like someone's blog, but I didn't bother checking where it came from. |

My mother is a smoker and yes it is really annoying. especially when were in the car and she won't roll the EFFING WINDOWS DOWN! |
|
Well, it definitely can't be good for you. I mean, it could probably cause cancer or other health problems if you spend a lot of time around a smoker. Although I doubt any non-smoker does. |

Surrender your flesh. We demand it.
Second hand smoke is obviously not good for you, but it is not comparable to how damaging actual smoking is. Unless you already have lung problems, second hand smoke shouldn't be a realistic worry. |

Its not really that bad. Smoking indoors alot can make your house reak like cigarettes though which is gross in my opinion. I think its exaggerated though. Smoking takes a long ass time to kill you and you have to do it a lot. Getting tiny bits of second hand smoke is hardly going to do anything. |

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake
Headaches and nosebleeds have been my personal experience whenever I'm around cigarette smoke. I'm going out on a limb here when I say it's probably not good for you. |
