Are you into dancing at all? That's what I do. It works excellently. It's very fun, as well, so I barely feel like I'm exercising..but if done right it can be a very good workout as well. |

So I've been exercising at least 5 times a week for the past 10 months now but lately my routine consisting of daily 30 minute vinyasa yoga, followed by Tony Horton's ab ripper x video and Ivy Larson's 30 minute workout is getting too repetitive and I find no motivation to do them anymore. |

have you tried shadowboxing? you just throw kicks and punches in the air while constantly moving around on the balls of your feet. its a great way to work your entire body. just pretend someone is attacking you and your trying to fight back. |

Do you have a set a stairs? |

Why do you have to stay at home? You can get much better results going to the gym, or even just jogging outside. |

Hm, the Insanity workout has done wonders for me, though I will say that it takes some time to get used to. It's intense, but it works (or at least it did for me). There's a lot of jumping and movement in it, so it's great for cardio and it doesn't require any extra equipment, only you and the video. There are also a variety of different workouts within the Insanity bundle, so that you're doing something new almost every day, and the intensity of the workout progresses as you progress. I think it's a ton of fun, once you get going, though the program is a little expensive. You need a bit of room to do it too, because you're moving around and jumping so much, but otherwise it's a pretty good workout to do in the privacy of your home. You have to be careful though, because a lot of the movements are pretty dynamic and if you don't do it right, you could hurt yourself (I've rolled my ankle a few times). Anyway, hope this helps! |

Now that you've watched the yoga videos enough why not try it on your own, setting a new pace and experimenting a little more? I find I always resist yoga, then end up wondering why I would ever procrastinate doing something that feels so good. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
All great ideas here. OP, a lot depends on your goals, but In addition to the aerobics mentioned- one thing, resistance training is really under rated when it comes to getting "in shape". Resistance training adds lean body mass (muscle) which burns more calories than fat and will slowly "tone" you. Also the very act of straining your body burns calories (gets your heart going). Since you mentioned you don't want to run, unless you own or have access to a bike, I would suggest in addition to aerobics, a resistance regimen. |

Try hula hooping. Once you feel comfortable with it, then begin to hoop while doing yoga. Not even kidding - it's an insane work out. |

I realized I was watching TV while sitting on my butt. So I started jogging in place while watching TV. I started losing some weight. Then I started having problems with my feet because I was running barefoot -- my doctor told me I had a "sports injury". Go figure. Me. A sports injury. |
