      "Ringed" eyes?

I'm not exactly sure how it is called in english, but i think ringed eyes is good enough way to call it.
My problem is that i have these "rings" under my eyes, somewhat like on this picture:

(It's not me on the pic)

Mine is a little darker and maybe more noticeable... i'm not exactly sure what causes this, as they are like this since years and even if i sleep a lot they won't go away...

Any tricks to make them disappear or something?
Except makeup, because i don't use that, only eyeliner and eyelash spiral... i don't want to cover my skin.

I've noticed this about myself as well. I kinda look like a raccoon in my old license lol. Although, I think that was just after waking up from three hours of sleep and possibly a hangover lol. I was more self conscious about it when I was younger but I don't really notice it anymore. It's probably best to get the right amount of sleep for this.

I read many articles like that already, but i would be interested in something that works for longer or even makes this problem disappear forever or so... These daily cucumber/spoon solutions are not that good for me :/

Btw, mine is more like that one on that picture as well, i just couldn't find a pic like that before

I used to have terrible bags under my eyes, they tend to just come and go now.

From my research, it's largely down to genes and there's not an awful lot you can do about it. Getting more sunlight, exercise and removing salty foods from your diet helps though.

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.

No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.

More sunlight and exercise... well i don't really know, when i'm outside a lot on summer, my eyes are still like this. Exercise is something i might should do, but i'm soo lazy...
Removing foods, especially salty from my diet, now that's hard

But yeah, maybe it's just thanks to my genes :/

Well i sleep a lot, since i don't have much to do usually, so that's not the cause... Stress... i don't usually stress about anything... other than lucid dreaming and my exams these weeks... But most of the time i'm calm and have no reason to stress... and since these are under my eyes since years, i doubt i was stressed all along

I hate dark circles as well, they make my face looks so gaunt. I didn't get much sleep one night and when I went out for a morning walk, some punk ass kid once told me I looked like a vampire. Little six year old bastard... >_>

I think going to sleep the moment you feel tired is more important than simply getting 8 hours of sleep. My doctor once told me to eat more leafy greens (spinach especially) and to make sure I'm getting enough iron in my diet.

Stress, lack of sleep and most of all allergies. My doctor pointed this out to me at my appointment yesterday.

Stress, lack of sleep, and possibly even a poor diet tend to produce bags under your eyes. Fixing these problems tend to alleviate them, but not always. Bags under your eyes can be due to genetics as well, in which case there's not much you can do about it. Except since you're a girl, so I don't see why you wouldn't want to take full advantage of the benefits of makeup.

Because i don't like it when my skin is covered with makeup. I like to show my real skin and not look like a plastic doll.... and if i would put some makeup under my eyes, that would just be too obvious.

Many times it's genetics. I get the dark circles under my eyes and so does my mom. It can also come from stress, hormones, lack of sleep and that generic stuff.
If the "rings" are all puffy sometimes, try slicing a potato and freezing it for an hour or so, then just lay with it on your eyes, it'll return some of your regular color to under your eyes and remove puffiness.
Cucumbers may work as well. (don't freeze the cucumber though)
If you feel any irritation just take it off.

A little bit of makeup won't be "fake", I admit even I don't like to wear it, but if you apply it right you can look perfectly natural. Completely your choice though, I see where you're coming from when saying that.

You have allergies, right? These add to the circles, as does poor hydration and inconsistent sleeping habits. I have them at the moment too. I get the best results after sleeping consistently for at least a week, drinking lots of water (and reduce salt intake) to reduce fluid retention, and by taking anti-histamines before bed.

I tried cucumbers already and cold spoons too, but it never seemed to work at all... it stayed the same :/

True, but i don't like the feeling when i know that makeup is on my skin. I only use eyeliner and eyelash spiral, because i find my eyes small and those help make them look bigger... but otherwise i wouldn't use anything.

Yeah, but i had them even before i had my allergies. My allergies started like 2 years ago and my eyes were like this since really really long now. I drink lots of water, but my sleeping habits are surely not consistent enough...

Still i've got a feeling that this is because of my genes...

Those are called dark eyes circles, usually derived from lack of sleep or abnormal sleeping patterns. I doubt they'll ever go away. In fact I think almost everyone has it now, it's pretty common.

You either hide them with make-up (like you had mentioned), try to lighten them with some face mask or eye rings mask (I think the market sells these) or go to some health and beauty shop, receive a treatment and attempt to get rid of them.

If you can, try sleeping at the same time every night and waking up at the same time each morning....for a week. I'm sure you'll see an improvement. Works for me, but it's bloody difficult to value improved eyes over sleeping whenever I want.
