I have noticed that whenever I am doing my homework, reading or writing I bend my spine and I look like I have a thousand humps. I don't know why do I do that I just instinctively lower my head and bend my spine towards my notebook so my face is almost immersed into my notebook. I don't know I do it whenever I write or study, do my homework etc. I don't know what should I do. Do you have any advice? |

I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.
'Dreams are real while they last. Can we say more of life?'
'We die to remember what we live to forget'
Not doing it is much easier said that done lol But your body would thank you. |

I have a bad posture also. Like Zhailin, i too tend to sit on the bottom of my spine instead of my butt and the habits are too ingrained. But once in a while i'm aware of it and try to correct it. Better a few times than never. |

Thanks Karloky, I reconsidered my posture again. As I was typing my first sentence I instinctively leaned forward. Maybe find out what causes your terrible posture? I've been working on mine a lot lately and here's a couple of tips. |

Go to a Chiropractor? I don't know if that's good advice (so much controversy surrounding Chiropractors) but they themselves say it helps posture. Basically the hypothesis is that poor posture is caused by a bad back, and you can't force someone to sit up straight when they don't do it naturally. But if you fix their back then they won't even have to try and it will just feel natural to straighten your back. I can kinda attest to this. I used to try to meditate and keep a straight back but after about 5 minutes it would literally hurt so much I couldn't. Maybe you should do that. Try keeping a straight back for as long as you can, see if it hurts. |

you may have abs that are stronger then your lower back, this is a problem for many people including me. |
