Does your peripheral vision relaxes you ?

I have noticed my peripheral vision can have a relaxing effect ( maybe because my vision is less strained..but the relaxation is also in the body )
I first discovered for myself through meditation ( with eyes open, of course )..itīs almost like when you are daydreaming, you donīt even blink, but you are so relaxed..nice
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

I think it goes both ways. I find that when I get relaxed, my vision naturally starts blurring, and my eyes stop focusing on a single object, so I achieve the double-vision effect. I take this as a sign that I'm sufficiently relaxed enough to close my eyes and meditate.

and now I'm off to sleep...
naturals are what we call people who did all the right things accidentally
