Cheat Day (Optional):
Physical Goals: Noticeable difference in muscle size and upper-body strength
Days you'll exercise: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday (or Sunday)
Cardio Routine: Weekly walks at least 2 miles (got some fun dirt trails and forests)
Weight Routine: Starting off on 12.5 lb weights. Will add an extra 5 pounds when I become more comfortable.
Current weight: 110 (I'm 5'4", and am *losing* weight. I hope muscle will help this)
Why are you joining? For the reason above. Also, I very generally lack upper body strength, so I need to work on this. As a plus, I'm getting into parkour, and it'll help any of the climbing stuff.
P.S. The reason I came here was because I need a good list of beginner workouts. I got a set of dumbbells (barbells?) for Christmas and figured I should start using them. I would more like to focus on upper body strength (Muscles in the chest and shoulder region more than biceps), so if anybody wanted to help me with that, that would be great.
My friend is teaching me some beginning parkour (jumps, falls, wall runs, etc.) but he's in no way professionally trained. Guides to this OR weight training would be greatly appreciated, perhaps with some pictures? Pretty please? ;)
I hear that, from psychological studies, by telling and committing to others as well as yourself, there's more pressure to keep on with your regimen. I hope that'll work a bit better for me.

Why are you joining? because i have mostly muscle but i want to get toned and this is going slow for me. it would help if i diet i think.
