I have read on a fair number of health sites that as long as both partners have no sexually transmitted infections, anal sex is (and I quote) 100% safe.
Excuse me?
I wouldn't complain, I'm dirty enough to get an extreme amount of comfort from understanding this 'fact'... but surely the colon is a rather dirty place? Why do STDs matter? Shouldn't you be able to get ordinary infections?
It obviously does not mention 100% safe to STDs, it just says 100% safe. If it means ONLY to STDs, but you can get other infections, then I will personally cause a row to the NHS over this misinformity.
So, is it really 100% safe?
