      Adrenaline Rush at Will?

I wasn't sure where to post this so I descided here was good.

I can do this...Thing... where I can send a rush of energy throughout my body at will and it feels very much like an adrenaline rush but not exactly like one. I've looked this up with only limited success on finding out what it is, but I have found out that it's not just me that can do this. So I ask...

Do you know what I'm talking about or do I just sound crazy?

Do you know what this is, exactly?

They could be WILD vibrations. I can occasionally do this at the start of a WILD. Not all the time, but when I'm there, I know it, and I can just concentrate and I get this massive surge of energy, and my heart rate goes nuts and I'll hear my heart and blood rushing in my ears. It's kinda scary sometimes. It feels like electricity and sometimes I can hear weird electronic sounds when it happens. I can do it maybe 3 or 4 times and then I just pass out and go into a lucid dream.

Don't know if that's what you're talking about but what you said reminded me of my version of it.

LUL Sentaku. I can also do this. I remember that watching Digimon as a child gave me this, too. I'm interested in people's opinions about it.

Um... thinking about someone hot/someone you really like? I remember times during exercising when I felt tired, maxed out and sluggish, until I fantasized about a cute boy I really liked and suddenly I was going at the top of my game like it was nothing. When you think about things that make you really excited, you almost want to do more than your body will allow.

I do this just before an exam. I'll put on my most energizing tunes (often Passion Pit) and parade to the exam room. There are no nerves, but there is no relaxing. I'm at the very peak of my game. And everyone knows your grade boosts five points via placebo effect.

I can, but only when I'm thinking about something anxious or if I'm in an anxious situation.
Certain movies and music will trigger it, but it's not really a controllable thing...

I did that once, and it was so cool. I felt like jumping off a building and I could fly...

You can do this as often as you like, the more the better. Think of something that makes you feel really happy. Just smile. Listen to an amazing song. Watch an emotional movie. Anything that touches your heart and brings you joy. Anything that gives you shivers up and down your spine and makes your hair stand on end and feel full of energy and light. Seriously...this is a really well known phenom that is practiced all over Asia. Every culture calls it something different...vibrations, energy, prana, Qi (chi), etc.

This is how you can raise your vibrational frequency and start bringing more awesome things into your life.

      Hey Aqua,

Your thread sparkled my interest as I have a similar skill. I don't know if we do the same, but I can "rush" my body into an adrenaline like feeling. It usually makes my body tremble involuntarilly, and very often if I use it strongly I have to yawn afterwards (sound familiar?)...

I thought about training it, though I never really saw it's use... Do you maybe want to do a mini project on this? Maybe train (use) it for 3 times 5 minutes a day and see what effect it has?

      Greets,

      - Chris

Ps. I can also give myself goose bumps, you do that too?

Yes I often end up yawning...though I'm not sure what the correlation is there. For awhile I was planning on having a group here and instructing people on how to do this, what it is etc. Called the Human Vibrational Frequency Group. Maybe it's time that whole idea was put into action.

Sounds like a good plan! How do you see teaching this to other people? Personally I can think of no way to describe what I do to evoke the feeling... Once you have done it once it is easy to do for the rest of your life...

Are you the kind of person that says "good plan, let's do it now" or more like the planning type?

Really interesting thread, although I'm not quite sure what feeling you mean. Is it like the "hairs stand up" feeling when you are really proud of something, singing the national anthem, or whatever?
So I had my first OBE the other day... I was completely beside myself!

The feeling you mean is what I earlier reffered to as goose bumps. It is a very powerful feeling that I often get from music but can also induce at will.

The feeling discussed here can be compared to a good scare, only without the fear. When I use it my muscles often twitch, it is like there is an electric current in your body, only it doesnt hurt...

I have no idea how I actually start it, but I am quite sure it starts in my body at the height of the end of my back muscles...

I'm not sure if I have ever experienced that, but it sounds great!

I hope someone writes a tutorial about it, because I would love to try it.

I've always been able to do this, and just like you never knew what it was about until this thread. Interesting!

With me, I don't even have to think of something that makes me happy or anything.

Were you always able to flip that switch? Can you do it now, and pay very close attention to your mental processes, and describe, in great detail, what you do when you do it? Do you actually visualize a switch? Where is it? Do you hear anything? Do you visualize anything? Do you imagine a feeling before it becomes real?

I want to learn to do exactly this for... basically all pleasant emotional states I can think of.

It's not really an emotional state, it is purely a physical sensation similar to an electric current. I cannot speak for Sentaku but there is not visualisation when I do it, it just happens when I want to... Like telling your orm to grab a cup, no words, no images, just movement...

Well, all emotional states are just a different arrangement of hormones that your brain creates, so really, it's all the same. I get what you mean with the "grabbing a cup" thing.

Smile The Frequency of the conscious/subconscious Mind...

      Hi,

I'm known on this site as MementoMori, threw my Pen name as Pennman Wright, But most know me by The Traveler. Indeed a large amount of my friends and fellows call me by this name. You may have noticed i talk about ascending in some posts here, and about enlightenment. I've been Meditating since i was about 12, i grew up seeking something inside myself which led to a bridge that is still being built connecting me to my subconscious mind. Threw my many years of meditation i have brought many things into my life which others have much trouble accepting, one such thing being Lucid Dreaming. Another is the ability to quickly cleanse my mind and replace my thoughts with pure happiness which for me applies the affect spoken of herein.

Replicon, I cannot speak for the others here, but what i can say about this for myself is this: When i apply this, i wipe my concentration of all else and focus on the immediate task at hand. I write off all current emotions and thoughts plaguing or draining my attention and awareness. I close my eyes and picture a pure whiteness, pure of myself or anything else in the universe and then i accept this as my mind/consciousness and then think of the most elated most exaggerated feeling of happiness i've ever felt (with time and work it will come to you very quickly) and visualize it as a bright blinding light or a powerful bolt of light that erupts in the void of pure mental state and {here's the key} I allow it to fill me and actually believe it to happen with all the fervor and faith my mind can conjure. I've practiced this to an art that i can produce it in almost the time it takes me to blink.

For awhile I was planning on having a group here and instructing people on how to do this, what it is etc. Called the Human Vibrational Frequency Group. Maybe it's time that whole idea was put into action.
I have participated in such an organized session. It can and does have affects that are profound and life changing if the participants do in fact subject themselves to it with a great deal of fervor. If you wish to try this you could count me in on the participants list.

This is how you can raise your vibrational frequency and start bringing more awesome things into your life.
I have experienced the results of finely tuning ones vibrations to achieve certain results, and tuning ones vibrations to others to experience certain phenomenon.

I am still in my travels of ascending.

      "MementoMori, the lucid machine"

"There's nothing better than knowing what it's like to fly like superman. Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."

MementoMori: Brilliant! This is the sort of thing I'm going for. If I can find a way to systematically build up to whatever feeling I want, and repeat it over and over, the neural pathways will form that will allow me to do it faster and faster, until it's just second nature. Like reaching for a cup

Hi Memento, although the proces you describe sounds increadibly intriguing I think it is not the same as the feeling this thread is subject to.

The "rush" feeling is relatively sepperate from mental feelings, I for example do not suspend any mental emotional of physical processes when I evoke it...

It is also not related to a feeling of "happiness" or "bliss"... It is a neutral feeling indeed similar to an adrenaline rush without the fear...
