I don't know if it has to do with the way that I sleep. The bed I have, I've owned since I was about two years old (I'm turning 17 now). It just started to hurt this morning, and I don't know why.
Is there anything I can do to make it better?

The general consensus is don't sleep on your stomach, and if you sleep on your back, put a pillow under your knees.
That mattress of yours is 15 years old. Does it sag in the middle? Do you flip it over regularly ie. once month? Might be time to get a new mattress, because your current one is not nearly as supportive as it initially was.
To relieve the back pain, take pressure of your back by lying down every once in a while. An ice pack might also be effective.
Memory foam, that stuff is amazing. :)
Also, try sitting on an exercise ball, your back will be sore for a few days after that, but it really strengthens it.
Also, sleep with a pillow between your legs, it straightens the spine during sleep.
Thanks guys! Helps a lot!
