      Ugh... muscle twitches from "digging"

My car is snowed in. I wrote a long rant about it in my dream journal.
I was out in the cold for about an hour and a half, clearing about 15 feet through snow 1+ feet deep and wide enough for a car.
I didn't have a snow shovel, but AAA said they needed an area clear of snow and ice to wench me out, so I did it by hand. Mostly, I dug at it as a dog, bent at the waist or squatting and throwing the snow backwards between my legs.
It was the BEST freagin workout I've had in a very long time. How can I duplicate it without the snow.

More still, what do I do about the muscle spasms in my upper arm lol (my left)?

I've taken 20 mg (I think- it's blue) Valium a couple hours ago. I CAN'T fall asleep and the spasms haven't subsiding.

Drink some gatorade and massage it. Usually muscle spasms are a result of a an electrolyte imbalance, which is expected from a really hard workout.

Okay, thanks. They've eased up a great deal.
<My brother-in-law and his friend came out at 1AM and pulled me out of the snow *whew*
Now I can go grocery shopping and I'll be sure to buy some

I think the spasms are a combination of vigorous repititive motion(from muscles that aren't used to it) as well as sudden changes in temperature from warm(inside) to cold to to warm.

I think keeping your upper arm warm by covering it, or rubbing it with heat cream would have helped.

I am not in the USA, so when I read AAA, I thought it was "alchohlics anonymous" wanting to wench you out so you can attend a session.

You sound like a human snow cleaning machine. I would pay $$$ to see you in action!
