      Tinnitus and quitting smoking

I've been hearing a ringing in my ears for the past 6 days. At first it wasn't so bad, then the next day my little brother had some friends over which gave me a headache and the 2 combined were fairly painful. It's been fluctuating ever since then.

I read on wikipedia that tinnitus can be caused by nicotine withdrawals, and I did quit smoking the day before this started (though the nicotine cravings have been almost unnoticeable). I'm just wondering if anyone knows if this is true, I don't really trust wikipedia with my health.

I also recently fell down a flight of stairs and a professor of mine keeps asking me if I have symptoms of a concussion(which this is one). But the ringing didn't start until 2 or 3 days after I fell.

Also if anyone knows of a good source for medical information on the web that'd be helpful too.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

Might be worth a visit to a doctor or hearing specialist. Maybe even getting a hearing test done.

If you hit your head when falling down the stairs, that could be serious, and the ringing might be a delayed effect.

I didn't hit my head, but I probably should see a doctor.

I have tinnitus, it's from caffiene, so I think any stimulate can't do that.

      What???Can't?

If you meant can I'm hoping your right, but I had a cigarette yesterday and it's still there.

A couple people I've explained this to think that this all might be subjective. The professor asked me if I was experiencing symptoms of a concussion and I subsequently imagined the symptoms. I still don't know.

So I went to the docter 2-3 weeks ago, and found out I have fluid in my ears, which is causing the tinnitus. I took the medicine he gave me, but it hasn't gone away, and I can still feel the fluid(it feels like I need to pop my ears but can't, ALL THE FUCKING TIME). But it has been getting better. Does anyone know anything else I can do to help kick this completely? It's gotten better to the point that I don't think I need to go back to the doctor, I'm just looking for some basic health tips other than drink lots of water, because I always drink lots of water(If I drink more I'm gonna be pissing 10 times a day).

Also, does anyone know any good stretches for your neck or back?

Yeah, I had exactly the same thing a month or so ago. Just take the medication's course, and do as much swallowing as you can. The ear specialist told me that it's important the Eustachian tube opens (thus the swallowing) so the fluid can drain.

      Good luck.
