      rapist dream

I had a dream last night that I was a rapist. Now before the yelling begins I am not a rapist in real life and I would never even think about raping a woman in my lifetime. I almost said I would never dream of it but I guess that is now a false statement.

Anyway in this dream I start out and I can see one or two girls that have been raped and it's pretty grotesque so I'll spare the details but they were definitely raped no question. I did not witness myself doing it but im positive that I arrived in the dream after I had done it somehow. It was not in any room ive been in before it was in some hotel that was gray and the sheets were gray.

I do not know what this means. I am not thinking about raping anybody and I never have as I said.

You have to ask the question, what is rape? Generalize the answer.
An environmental acquisition system of a living organism is that system of an organism which must acquire something from the evironment, process that which it has acquired, for a product that maintains and promotes the life of that body.

Thus rape falls in the category of taking from someone the choice of perception. Thus one can see it in what is called the abstract. This can be done to any environmental acquistion system--not just the reproductive.

Censurship and propaganda is rape when applied to those who are of age to choose.

When you determine the input, you control the output.

Another word for it is deception.

I suspect that there is something about which you are deliberately deceiving yourself, and you are being made aware of what it has done to your own psychological landscape. What is being used to show you is something you find more repulsive, but in fact is just as repulsive.

A wise man once said, a house divided against itself cannot stand. You are such a house.

There is a correct relationship between perception and will, it is a conjugal one. When will is used to dominate perception, it is a tragic one.

Thus one can see in man, a psychological fault when it is expressed that men should dominate women, when it is in fact, that women should be the guide of men. Woman is the mother of all life. You need to understand that. Perception is the cornerstone that man has rejected. And so socially, the reason I never chased a woman, no matter how much in need I have been, is that it is up to a woman to choose the man she would like to make a life with.

Metaphorically, a woman is used to example the acquisition systems of a life form. Take a hint of a Biblical Metaphor Seven women shall hang from the skirt etc. These are the seven acquisition systems of an human body. They bring us life.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, eagle, if it's really not something you'd ever do. If it becomes more pressing, or it REALLY starts to concern you, though, thinking back to what might have brought the thoughts on. It might have been a recent story in the news, or something that happened to someone you know; it might have just been your mind imagining.

Now that is what I call rape. I believe he was asking for an understanding of rape, not just another demonstration.

Don't worry, dreams are not fantasies -- contrary to popular belief. You could look for deeper meaning, but so long as you know that being a rapist in a dream does not mean you are a rapist in real life or even that you have any secret desires along those lines, then you don't have to worry about it.

I think what Philosopher8659 is getting at is that a dream about rape in the sexual sense could relate to something in someone's real life in the non-sexual sense of the word. So, there may be an element of someone's life where they take something by force -- or rape something -- and their subconscious is drawing a parallel at a more fundamental level. Note that force doesn't need to be physical; it can be psychological.

Yes, the first principles of logic are the same for every system. Thus transference of concept is also what metaphor is.

One of the items that Aristotle did, by discounting metaphor from formal reasoning, is those who came after him repeating the same non-sense. When you understand that one learns definition from the many examples, the similie in multis, you automatically put metaphor at the foundation of logic.

The fallout is then when one constructs a piece using metaphor, one discounts it as reasoning. For example, the Judeo-Christian Scripture. Then, one can use metaphore to see if one is walking upright on two feet, or still drewling on their pillow alseep.

One simply uses inversion, taking a member of a class to demonstrate the universal. It is a two way street, not a one way. By it one compares members of the same class to demonstrate the similarity.

There are some people that believe the reason for dreams is to strengthen the person in real life by putting them through tough situations and scenarios so they will be prepared for them. Most of the time these are called bad dreams, maybe your mind is trying to make you confront your fears. Or maybe I'm completely wrong and no one can understand the mind. I had a dream a few nights ago where I was killing people because I had to for some reason they were just regular people and a ton of people I know were telling me to stop.
"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"

Thanks for the insight. I think it was to do with guilt. Because the whole day I remembered something bad I did a few years ago. I am fine now and the following dreams were not nearly as weird.

This is going to sound weird and sort of off topic but im beginning to be able to control my dreams slightly without any outside help. Im sure if I used the techniques I would have much more control but I turned a nightmare around last night which was cool. All of the sudden im able to recall my dreams really well also which is cool. I think I have really good potential but I do need work. Thanks for the help anyway.
