Overwhelming emotions in dreams

so last night i had a dream where i was with a bunch of people in robes and some had those graduation hats. we were standing on marble steps that were twisted in weird ways and such and clapping. there were american flags everywhere. it seemed like i was in washongton DC by the amount of marble steps there were.

thats beside the point though. i felt an overwhelming sense of pride.
im not asking for an interpretation but do you ever feel overwhelming emotions like this? for me theyre usually good dreams

Usually when I feel overwhelming emotions I wake up in tears and it's a sad thing. That's not to say I haven't had good feelings, but I usually experience those during the day. Also, if I go to sleep really happy I will have a dream with lots of pride or action and if I'm angry or sad I'll have those kind. Basically, if I feel an extreme emotion before sleep, I will during sleep.

Yes! I know the feeling! It's amazing! Most of the times I get it's an overwhelming sense of kindness or caring that follows me when I wake up! And it's usually from the simplest things.. One dream like this I saw one person give another person a kind of weird pen or something and I remember just thinking, "WOW! That was incredibly kind!" these kinds of dreams generally make me have such a happy feeling that those are the best days

Yes the more emotion the better my recall. Like I had one where it was the new world order and everyone was being killed off by death squads and I lived as like 5 different people (including myself) I died as a few of them or the dream scene shifted. Incredible emotions of fear holy shit I might die and other people are dieing feeling.
Other ones with great happiness and love normally involving girls.

If I have dreams with overwhelming emotions I will wake up still feeling like that with physical signs of whatever emotion. A good emotion will put me into a good mood for a week or more.

i have dreams where the anger is far beyond anything I have ever experienced in waking life. There was one where my mother had gotten raped and my jaw was clinched so hard I could barely speak and I was breathing very heavy and deep...quite disturbing. I ve also had anxiety attacks in dreams which is no fun at all. I have had dreams where I loose loved ones and experience grief depression and sadness that i have never felt before as well.

Usually the overwhelming good emotions come through lucid dreams.

I've had dreams where I raged so hard that either my teeth started to crack or my jaw practically fell off and everything went red.
And then there are dreams in which I see a mirror and shit my pants so hard my bowels are clean for a week.
Nothing pride-ish like yours, though overwhelming positive emotions would be nice for a change.
