i have a few questions about these multiple dreams ive been having.

okay so i have been having alot of dreams about ghosts, and one i remember very well is i am laying on my bed sleeping as i normally would and got awoken to a sound of my cat who sometimes sleeps in my room being very...distrought, or protecting itself. than i feel something grabbing my blanket and trying to pull it off, so im basically laying in my bed sleeping in the dream than wake up in my dream, than wake up back into reality terrified. completely freaked out. gives me the willys just thinking about it to be honest. im not big on understanding yet knowing why i am having these dreams or how to end it, i also have dreams of ghosts, but i took that as something horrible under my bed.

i have done research and it says im scared to make a decision in my concious state and it is effecting me in my subconcious state. but the thing is i dont know what the decision is or what may be effecting me, i mean my last girlfriend was about 3 years ago, i felt heartbroken when we broke up but 3 years ago i should be over it, not to mention im 21 and should be enjoying my life, the fact these dreams keep coming up is making me wonder what it could mean.

( i do watch scary movies sometimes, but i mean i never got nightmares until about 2 months ago, than i end up having a bad dream about 2 nights out of the week, im honestly thinking of buying a dream catcher just to see if it helps the situation)

----also if anyone could give me some good things to think about while im laying in bed about to fall asleep i would be greatful like what you all decide to think about when you have your good dreams.

any help would be great i just need to figure this out. ive been to therapy and that doesnt work and im not a big pill person, i dont even take melatonin to help me fall asleep.

i honestly think there is a ghost in my house. just messing with me, and its starting to piss me off.

The dream is telling you that you have an issue in your life that you don't want to fix (bed). You are mentally sleeping on the issue. The cat in your bed symbolizes your need to feel good. The cat is an illusion you tell yourself to make yourself feel better. Cats are self-deception, and lies.

If you still aren't over your ex then the cat could be a symbol for your need to fantasize about her to make yourself feel better. You need to feel loved, or sexually fantasize about her to feel good. The blankets symbolize comfort and security. If something pulls the blankets away it symbolizes something you think that scares you or prevents you from feeling safe, confident, and comfortable.

The whole dream is possibly telling you that you insecure about being alone or having no girlfriend and you fantasize about your ex to feel better.

If you dream of ghosts then this symbolize issues from your past that bother you, or haunt you. There are people you need to get over, or forgive.
