Thread: Names of DCs?

In one lucid I was in my house and I randomly heard "Hi , I'm Zammor the Unicorn!" and I turned around and there was a unicorn behind me. Thats the only DC name I can remember right now, I don't usualy learn the names of the DCs in my dreams. I should start asking them more.

My two most prominent dream characters have been Anashnu (dream guide) and a girl named Naoko.

I've recently been trying to get in the habit of asking interesting DCs their names. Some worthy of note: Valence, Leona, Eon, and Jim.

Back in the day, a DC told me their name was a long list of increasingly hard to remember words (around 14 of them). The easy ones, and the only two I still remember, were "systems" and "engineering".

In one of my lucid dreams there was a scientist called Orbit, and an old guy who was apparently called Dr.Bob.

Hehe, that's funny! ^_^ Recently I learned another name in a dream, except I was the person and their name was Liza (or Liaza). The person who said their name actually called them(me) Lizzy. The reason that I know that it was spelled Liza or Liaza was because when their name was said the spelling appeared in the air.

I've rarely met new DCs and remembered their names; most of mine are recurring characters from films or my own family members.

Of my DCs who aren't imaginary versions of people from real life (or of pre-existing fictional characters), only two have mentioned their names: Anne-Marie and Thomas. The former has shown up once, the latter twice, so far.

I often dream about my family and friends as well. Also, I know a girl who is named Anne-Marie.

Until recently Freddy Kreuger's been a fairly regular figure. He's actually one of my more successful reality checks: if he shows up, I'm obviously dreaming.

Oh, ok. I once knew an Anna-marie IRL, and this particular DC looks a bit like her and a bit like another friend named Dawn.

It's very rare that I catch DCs' names, but just the other night, I had a dream in which I almost stabbed a girl with a pen for sneaking up on me. She said "it's just me" and we acted as if we had been friends for a long time. I was still kind of confused as to who she was, though (I don't actually know if she was someone I knew in real life), and I kept calling her "Jessica." After putting up with it for some time, she smiled cheekily and said "...It's Vanessa."

I get names for people and places often, I think that's because I remember words and names easily when I'm awake. I once met a man named Simmpte (pronouced Simp-tee). A few weeks ago I was a foreign exchange student in China, and since I know next to nothing in Chinese it seems like my brain was making up Chinese things (probably badly). I met a boy named Nianjxe (pronounced Ni-ahng-tsey). I got the impression I was very close to Nianjxe, but Simmpte had a very minor role.
