Help/Input: Trying to find my DC.

So, in desperation i found this site. I had a dream with a DC two weeks (exactly) ago, and had tried to find him ever since. I was successful two nights later. He was, however, um... "indisposed", but was going to be turned back to normal that night. I woke up before he could be turned back to normal. I tried very hard for a few nights. Here's what i tried:
-Going half-asleep and repeated what i need to do.
-Concentrating on his name.
-Telling myself that i will remember what to do.
-Taking 5 HTP.
-Taking Melatonin.
Non of it worked and I mentioned it in a thread here in the Newbie zone. I got very very helpful advice to relax and forget about it for a few days and try it again. I can't say really that it worked, but a few nights ago after a random DC reminded me of WW (my dc) i then faintly remembered him. I woke up and in a half-dream finally saw him. He asked me where i had been so long and i angrily told him that he left me. Anyway, I am still having trouble remembering what i need to do when i am finally in my dream. My dreams are lucid, even if it's just in the back of my mind, but it almost seems like random dream people are trying to distract me from remembering to look for him. That probably sounds crazy, but In my first dream they actually chased us and everything.

Do any of you have any advice in remembering what to do when you are in a dream? Any input is very appreciated.

Think about it all day. Its like remembering to RC. Just think about looking for this guy all through
your waking life, and eventually it will manifest in your dreams.
