      My Most Vivid Dream. Why?

Ok so last night I had a super clear, and very long dream put of no where. Was it because of something I ate that made it all so clear? I had a tuna steak, some broccoli and cauliflower, and some chocolate cake. Do any of those boost vividness?

Dreams can sometimes be rather spontaneous in terms of clarity and length.

Chocolate cake may cause dream vividness, but it hasn't been set in stone. Personally, I believe it keeps one awake more than anything else. Foods or drink with vitamin B6 can increase dream clarity; I'm unsure as to how much B6 was in the food you ate, but if there was, that might be it.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I had my first full lucid after eating half of a can of nutella (gotta love that stuff). the contents of the dream could be the cause of this vividness maybe its emotionally significant.
