      Dream Sharing

I was just wondering if was possible for two or more people to share the same dream. Has anybody here have that experience? seems like a really awesome thing to experience.

Everyone is always trying, but it seems to remain out of reach. The best we can do now is simultaneously incubate similar dream content. This is still pretty damn cool!

Give it a try, yourself. Just don't believe anyone who says it is impossible, or that it has been conclusively shown to exist.

Identical twins sometimes experience that, or so I have heard. It seems really cool.

I have met a few people on here in my earlier days who said they could. They showed me this site... If I can find it I will post it later on. I am working on my lding and hopefully sooner or later I can get back to where I was and start trying new things aka dream sharing. Do some more research on it. You wouldn't believe all the resources their are. It is possible. Anything is possible.

I can't find the website I was using. It was a few years ago so there is no telling. I am sorry I couldn't be more help...

      Well I don't believe it doesn't exist.
Here's food for thought though: Let's say you meet this DC in your dreams who's really responsive and what not. Who's to say this isn't some guy having the same dream as you but your brain translates this into you thinking it's just another DC.

I've only had one semi-lucid and haven't spoken to a DC ever so what do I know? =P

I was wondering this same thing two days ago when I woke up from the longest lucid dream I have ever had. In the dream I knew I could control things and I was looking for a friend of mine who was kidnapped so I imagined a gun into existence and yelled at like 20 people to back off. Of course they listened because I was in control of the dream at this point. I knew I had no bullets in the gun but fired at anyone who tried to attack me and they fell down even though this gun had no ammo. Then I shot at this blonde guy running towards me and nothing happened. I asked him how he didn't die, and he said because my gun had no ammo of course. then I asked him if he knew this was a dream and he said no. Then I asked him his name and he told me, first and last, and I wrote it down on my hand in the dream. A bunch more happened but this blonde guy, Eric, continued to act as his own person. Let's just say I decided to google him later since I recalled his entire name and I was freaked out. I found a guy who looked VERY similar to my dream Eric on Facebook. He was literally the first option that popped up in my search and I've never me this man and he lives supposedly on the opposite side of America from me.

I have no clue if this was just weird coincidence, but it was weird.....I never took dream sharing seriously before this.

^Perhaps this Eric person, was having the same dream as you (or perhaps, was in the same dreamscape, but since event were unfolding differently for him, it's technically not the "same" dream) and he wasn't lucid, while you were.

      Just a thought.

That's totally possible and I think a good reasoning. I also have thought most people do not really remember their dreams, so if it really was 'linked/shared' then he might not ever remember it. just think if everyone in the world remembered their dreams, how many people might be running into each other in dreams?

It's quite difficult, but possible. Sometimes it happens when you made a connection of some kind with someone. Specially romantic. You can dream about seeing each other and doing something together.
i think that to achieve a shared dream, one has to connect in a very special way to someone else.

Well, not only that, but (if it were possible) they would also have to be in REM sleep at the same time in order to "meet each other" in the dreamworld.
