First Concious Dream Recal-A Nightmare

I had my first dream recall that I'd induced the night before (I'm attempting LDing with MILD) And it was...well I don't think it would actually classify as a nightmare, but it wasn't good. I don't want to get into this whole thing but it was basically happy and then horrible for the whole thing then happy again at the very end, with a foreshadowing of more depression... I'm not really sure what to think...Is this a sign that Lucidity isn't my thing?

Nope. It's just a sign that you are human, and humans usually have a lot of nightmares It was probably more vivid than usual if you had a strong intention to remember your dreams, that's all. There's nothing like the sensation of "oh thank God!" when you wake up, now you should have a few solid dreams signs to write in your DJ.

I've been doing the same nighttime routine since and haven't been able to recal a single other night's dreams :/
