Edgar cayce ( the sleeping prophet )

Hi all just wondering if there is anyone who knows anymore info on how edgar cayce got into his sleeping state ???.

basically id like to know what he would think about , i know how he layed and the position of his hands ect ect , and that he would see a light ..id just like a little more insight into exactly what he was doing during the transition ? .

I dont expect to be able to predict the future or nothing :) im just trying to open my my a little more and try to get into diffrent levels of conciousness .

Ive seen a few documentaries about him lately and find it very intresting he even said something along the lines of " Im not doing anything other people could not do " he thinks with time anyone could learn to do this ??
