      Sleep misconception

I heard that because one's whole body (except eyes, of course) is paralysed during REM sleep, this means that the idea that sleepwalking is caused by one acting out their dreams is impossible.

I was thinking, this also means that sleep talking and tossing during nightmares is not caused by dreaming?
      Recorded dreams: 83 + 6 lucid (DILD).
      To-do: [ ] Learn dream control, [ ] sustain a LD, [ ] improve clarity.

A great perturbation in nature, to receive at once the benefit of sleep, and do the effects of watching.

Yes you are paralysed when dreaming, though some people aren't - which causes them to sleep walk. It's not impossible to not be paralyzed whilst dreaming.

Have you ever been falling asleep, and all of a sudden you get a jolt, and kick your leg out and wake up, or something? It's because your body hadnt fully paralysed yet and you played out a little bit of your dream.

Sleep talking and tossing could be nightmares or just normal dreams, or just randomness.

Everyones body works differently, and everyones body can work differently on any given night.
