A strange dream from about a few years back. [lang]

This was a typical non-lucid dream. Account includes some mild language.

Ok, so it's been a while since I had this dream. It was long and epic, but most of it has faded to me now. I will do my best to recount the most memorable parts.

Dad is driving us (me, mom, siblings) down the highway. It's raining, but not real hard. My mom, in the front passenger seat, starts to roll down her window. The moment the window is 100% down, a huge torrent of water blasts into the car, much they way Peter Griffin vomits. It lasts for about 30 seconds before we park underneath an overpass, at which point the water stops. We're all soaking and the car is full of water.

We're still driving down the interstate, which ends up in a T intersection in some town. We pull into some weird toll both thing. My dad gets out.

Dad get's back in and we drive off. After a few minutes, we arrive at a museum. A small red brick building. We park and go in. Mom and dad go off in one direction, while me and my siblings go in another. So we walk around looking at the paintings, artifacts and bones and stuff. The initial hallway is long but finally opens up into a big square room, with more stuff. This time there were pedastels with their artifacts in glass cases on top. We started looking around at these. After looking at a few, I came to one glass case in particular. In it, was a large white plate with a huge pile of steaming crap on it. I scrunched my brows and looked at the placard on it. It read: "Albanian Shit Eaters". I just stood there dumbfounded.

Suddenly, I noticed another hallway in the back of the room, leading off to the right. It was dimly lit and flickering. I told my brothers that I had a bad feeling, but I had to check it out. I slowly walked down this hallway, followed by my brothers. As we went, things became darker and more sinister, as well as more hospital like. Soon we began seeing blood, body parts, and other oddities. There were doctors walking about, zombie like. There were people, for lack of a better word, on tables. Only, they looked assembled, incomplete, or just plain horrid. Some were mere flesh sacks with random body parts sticking out, or big gaping holes in the skin. These things were all alive. The doctors were playing with their organs and mixing and matching stuff. Soon we came upon a section which was more like the storage area for failed experiments.

Now, craziness like this is normal for me, so I don't classify it as a nightmare. I wasn't scared throughout any of it. In fact, the only real emotion I felt was a need to know or understand. What it was I was trying to understand I cannot fathom. Anyway, there you go. The only parts I can still remember from the strangest dream I ever had.

My adult son and I often share the stupid dreams we have and I remember telling him this (and the rest of it) the day I had it. We must've laughed for hours about the Albanian thing. I still don't know where that came from.
