Thread: Shapeshifting

Has anyone experienced shapeshifting in a dream? Care to share that experience?

Being an animal enthusiast, shapeshifting is a very interesting topic for me. I always strive to either start the dream as a being I am not, or shapeshift within the dream if possible (which usually only happens if it is a LD and I've not had too many of those).

In the past I've become a shark, wolf, werewolf, and on several occasions a horse. In each case my body feels "normal" yet it works differently... if that makes any sense. For example as a shark I felt like I had legs, yet could not move them apart as they were transformed into the singular form and tail of a shark. My favorite form is the horse however, and I consider myself lucky to be able to experience that relatively frequently in dreams!

A form I would like to experience would be some sort of flying creature... perhaps an eagle, owl, or even dragon.
