Being almost struck by lightning, anyone else ever experience this?

I just got done waking up and recording my last two dreams. The first one I didn't even remember until writing the second. The first one must have meant something very powerful. In it I go back for my shoes and experience lighting hitting the ground, drifting between them. I try to reach them, lightning strikes between me and them. This happens twice. I think I may have even been thrown backwards. I still remember the charged feeling in the air, the heat, the bright light, the sheer, not terror, not afraid, beyond that, somewhere near awe. One of those, "OH @#$%!" experiences. Facing this awesome power against which I am so helpless. Anyone else ever experience anything like this? - DreamBliss

I had some similar experience a couple months ago. It wasn't lightning, but an airplane that was about to crash. I saw it coming to me, but for some reason i just looked at it and said to myself "hmm, ok then..". So the airplane just went above my head and crashed a little further away, it was quite intense! When it crashed i felt the heat from the explosion and noticed flying parts from the airplane just flying around me at a very high speed. It felt so real, maybe even to real.. It's quite an unique experience!

Ekyu I hate to sound like a cast member of the movie, "Knowing" but you might want to run that entire dream through a reality check. Get all the details. You may have had a precognitive dream of a real plane crash. If you have enough details you can send them anonymously to the FBI so they can look into it. I have to say, that sounds like a really intense experience! - DreamBliss

Yes! Mine wasn't as vivid, but I remember being struck and everything was so bright and I slipped out of consciousness. Your experience sounds so much more interesting, though!
