I think this dream means that you have to go out and buy purple paint, and those paints with sparklers that little girls love, and repaint your bedroom. LOL. Seriously though: cool dream.

Heh, this one is interesting. Just recently I had an LD that took place in a dream academy of sorts. This dream academy was actually a giant pink glittery void with a bunch of clouds. I took some lessons, graduated, went to exit (for some reason the place promptly turned in to my living room) and was promptly terrified by the thought of a kaiju from a creepypasta called Red (if you want to know what he looks like, google "red nes godzilla creepypasta" and go to google images). And, because I knew my annoying-ass subconscious would somehow twist that in to the dream, I looked out the window and saw his face in the branches of a tree (as in, a face made out of branches; not his actual face). I immediately went to the dream teacher/guide that had taught me a bunch of LDing stuff I already knew and I asked for assistance on how to get over my fear of Red.
Whilst I was explaining what Red was, a miniature version popped up and sat down on my couch. I started absentmindedly petting him. I was petting an abomination while asking how to get rid of it at the very same time. What. (In case you wanted to know what happened, I left the mini-Red inside since he was an afterthought and the teacher and I walked outside. He kinda walked around for a little bit, not doing much of anything, thus distracting me and making me forget about Red so that he wouldn't appear... how clever of a DC. Or maybe i'm thinking about this too deeply.)
1. I saw a U.F.O. and saw two boys with laser come out of it, chasing me until I ran to my friend's house and was cornered by them, only to find out that they had FAKE lasers.
2. I was stabbed in the back by a teddy bear, and I felt the pain when I woke up.
3. I saw a missile being chased by another, and they went about two feet above the grounf.
oh and in a recent dream, my stuffed animal looked at me when I stared at it from the side. scared the shit out of me during the dream which promted some awarness allowing me to perform a reality check, tho it failed me unfortunatly.
I've had a lot of really weird stuff happen to me in dreams.. but one of the weirdest I'd have to say was in a non-lucid I transformed into a girl BUT NOT JUST ONE GIRL, TWO that's right I was conjoined like a conjoined twin, RIGHT so I'm a male and here I am turned into a conjoined twin girl and THEN to top it off some guy has sex with me. I'm sure there's more weird stuff than this and I'm just forgetting, all my dreams are weird though. I once had a lego man dance battle where I controlled it like a marionette and the person who controlled the other lego man was a clone of myself..
EDIT: I remembered another one.. I had these little black monkeys that were made of stringy muscles and had like slime all over them burrow under my flesh and eat me inside out.. AND they were released after a statue bust turned to a dream character and told him "shouldn't have said necessarily." That dream was all around weird, started off with seeing Bruce the shark from finding neemo swimming in the air in a cave in the desert..
I dreamed I was a girl in a non lucid dream....and you guessed it, I fingered myself and that shit was just really really awkward
I'm not sure if I understand the question now that I've read the examples. I thought the question was like... what were the most unnexplainable things that've happened in my dreams? The weirdest, I won't bring up. But some of my most thought provolking dreams were these:
1. One night I had a dream that I was going about an average day at my house. Seeing my family occasionally, doing whatever. The next day, most everything in my dream played out around me. They said the same things, came and left in the right order. It was definitely strange.
2. When I was about 8 years old, I had a dream that I was across the street from my house, listening to 'the grown ups' huddle around and privately talk about something I couldn't overhear. I was with the other kids from my neighborhood and they told me that someone had died a few days ago. But none of the kids new what happen. They showed me where the person died. It was on the lawn. And running through the lawn was a trench ripped into the dirt. Like something huge was dragged over it causing a large straight line of dirt and grass to be ripped up. Then when I was 18, after not having this dream in mind for close to ten years. I had a dream where I was walking back to my house from down the street. There was an old women standing on the same lawn where the other dream took place. She started screaming "IT'S BACK, WHY WOULDN'T ANYONE LISTEN TO ME!? I WARNED THEM THE LAST TIME, IT'S HERE" and she just went on and on while pointing up into the tree I was about to walk under. Suddenly a huge, maybe thirty foot worm like monster jumped from the tree and consumed her, creating the same trench going accross the grass. It struck me so suddenly, causing me to remember my past dream as if it was as a reality of my past that I put together. The creature then ran at mind blowing speeds around the properties, and turn into an enormous, four or five story high beast, overpopulated with arms in the shape of that worm. My neighbor came out of the house, and I told her to run and tell our families to stay inside until I got back. It snagged her by the feet, picked her up in the air and then slammed her down onto the concrete right at my feet. Some other things happened later, but that was the strange part. I don't know why my mind randomly reverted back to that old dream senario.
3. One dream I had a year or two ago, was almost a purely symbolic dream. I was standing in front of a stained glass wall. All I could see was the wall, nothing was to the side of me, nothing was behind me. I felt the wall. It felt uneasy. Like I could stay here if I wanted, but for some reason I knew I had to move past this wall. I got a jolt of courage and took a leap, smashing through the glass and into the most beautiful scene. I smashed past it into the sky right above the ocean. Straight into lucidity. I fell for a moment but then made a functional flight path. It was one of the best moments of my dreaming life. And for whatever reason, it's helped me to take a first step in a lot of things I psychologically need to move past.
4. Finally, this one is less thought provolking, more terrifying. I was in a car with my parents, we were on the way to the hospital. I was 8 and half months pregnant, about to have the baby. My stomach was large, I knew I was pregnant, but what I couldn't figure out is how the **** this baby was going to be born out of my male genitals. My goodness, was I upset. Then... I began to think about it in more depth. I slowly began to realize that I hadn't visited the doctor once, and I couldn't even remember the last however many months I was pregnant. I came to the conclusion I was dreaming, my stomach dropped. And I felt more releaved than I ever have felt, to realize I was in a dream. I flew out of that car window and had a good ol' time.
Nerq, I think you are right: this thread probably does not match the original poster's original intent. However, I would argue that just like when interpreting the US Constitution, original intent is not what determines how a thread is interpretted, nor should it necessarily in my opinion. As Forrest Gump said, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." and that certainly applies to when posting to dreamviews as well as to dreams themselves. Just like a dream can take on a completely new meaning over time through dream interpretation and introspection and selective memory and future events in the dreamer's waking life making him or her realize what the dream "was" truely about, a thread on dreamviews in seen through the lenses of interpretation of different responders each of whom brings their own bias as well as the bias of responses that came before them that they have read in the meantime. By now, a reply about what is the most supernatural thing that happened in a dream would be almost off topic in this thread even though it is on the original topic but it is not what most of the thread is about. The nice thing is that the original poster can rephrase the question spin it a slightly different way and post a new thread and most likely get an entirely different set of responses which may or may not match the original intent once again. :)
Btw, your sample dreams were really intriguing. Thanks for sharing.
-I was kissing a beautiful girl when her tongue became the tentacle of an octopus... that was really disgusting!
-Once the hole world was immerse under the water and I dived here and there while a voice in off told me things like in a documentary, when I step on the bottom accidentally I broke up the leg of a kitty, the earth swallowed me into hell which looked like the core of a vulcano and I came back transformed into Lucifer, dressed with a gold armor, yelling and laughing...
Box77, your dream of being transformed into Lucifer (which sounds like a really bizarre and kind of interesting dream) reminded me of a dream I had as a kid: I dreamed I had died, and God was showing me my life recorded on VCR, and every time I had sinned, the video was paused, and would not be continued until I thoroughly and genuinely regretted that sin. I failed this test, and went to hell, where to my surprise everyone was dressed like for Halloween or Mardi Gras, and we danced around a bonfire.
It's interesting how we build our ideas about hell and heaven. The first time I visited hell was in a LD, it was something like a church without roof and without people, it was on the bottom of a pool full of water. This time, Lucifer looked like a pretty handsome priest. I know we talked but nowadays I don't remember a word about that conversation.
I'm not sure exactly why you two think that the replys in this thread were not what I intended, the thread question is asking people what was the most supernatural occurance in there dreams which means, things like giant insects trying to eat you, or you being an animated superhero character shooting bad guys with laser vision or something, basically anything that would not be possible in real life like flying for instance. basically everyone has answered the thread exactly how I intended.
Ah, ok: see by that definition almost anything in a dream is "supernatural", but actually it is perfectly natural for dreams. I thought by "supernatural" you meant something that defied the dreamer's or other people's expectations of what happened in dreams (shared dreaming for example) or dreaming of supernatural such as demons, and that's why I agreed with Nerq that most responses probably did not match original intent. Of course, based on your explanation, I now know that I did not understand your original intent, however, my argument still holds that it really does not deeply matter whether I correctly understood your original intent or not, as long as I posted in good faith replies which I thought were on topic based on my interpretation of what on topic was. :)
btw, since I misunderstood what you intended, I would not be surprised if I agreed with Nerq, but Nerq actually may have meant something completely different as well. But that's ok. :)
That's why I missunderstood as well. When the question said what is the most supernatural thing that's happened in a dream, I thought you were asking what kind of supernatural things had potentially happened in people's dreams. Not if they had seen things in normal dreams that didn't exist. That question is a bit harder. I'd define the 'supernatural' theme's in my dreams as absolutely natural, more or less.
All interpritations whether on point or misunderstood are welcomed. you and Nerq's post actually provided a very interesting thread idea that I might even consider making. anyways all is forgivin and it's perfectly understandable when others at times misunderstand a thread title or certain wordings in a post.
about my use of the word "supernatural" yeah when people refer to a dream as supernatural, it is not meant to be taken in it's literal terms, it is meant to describe a particulat type of dream. For most people, dreams usually holds basis in the persons natural reality. these type of dreams are far more subtle and closer to the dreamers actual reality. there are times when the person has dreams inwhich they are friends with a particular famous person or something along those lines but those wouldn't really be the type of dreams people mean when they mention supernatural dreams. supernatural dreams are meant to refer to dreams that are far beyond the bounds of subtlety. these dreams take place in a dream reality that deals in pure fantasy, these type of dreams make up the stereotypical dream most people think of when the idea of dreaming comes to mind. These type of dreams are the dreams that take our real life fictional movies about si fi, fantasy, animation and brings those things to life in our dreams.

shadow beings, the hooded ones... then i seen jesus once or twice, and i have also seen satan once <which was crazy>
Being in a room when suddenly the walls tried to eat me. It looked like people's arms and mouths were morphed into the wall.
Not sure what to say, most of my dreams are weird so uh, i guess i'll select the most memorable i can recall at the moment. :-?
Non-lucid: Months before i started with lucid dreaming, i had a dream that was very memorable, in fact it inspired me to make a boss in certain video game. In dream, i was in some kind of binary dimension, where only two colors existed, pure black and pure white, walls, floors and ceilings were same color too, so it was super confusing. There were also those... beings. They had various forms, some were spheres of energy, others were having more definite form, that looked like some kind of symbol, and i was exploring that dimension for a while. :cheeky:
Lucid: Looking at one object from three different perspectives at same time, trippy! And also false awakening sprees. :shadewink:
I was being pulled by my arm across a room by some unseen force.
The 'thing' doing the pulling did not know I was aware of the situation.
I decided to grab ahold of the hand pulling me, and pull back.
The 'thing' changed into a scary face from some childhood horror movie.
I was not impressed, and became annoyed, then gripped its wrist, and pulled back, aggresively.
The 'thing' changed into a small, skinny figure like a Grey Alien. It was very scared of what I had done.
I saw its fear, so I smiled, and let go of its wrist.
Dream ended rather abruptly after that.
Very clear lucid dream, that one.
