If Dreams are composed partly of Day residue, why not Girl content??

I watch adult movies and watch girl pictures and stuff. And the interesting part is that almost never makes an appearance in my dream.
Yet thats a big part of my life: me wanting a girlfriend, wishinng i had a girlfriend, thinking about gilrs, watching adult videos , watching girl pictures and stuff and staring at girls in TV shows and stuff.

Basically i do what most guys do. Which is "I like girls" I think about girls alot.

Yet that's the least kind of dream i have. The last few dreams i had were about Arab guy and me teaching him stuff about modern culture like Supermario 1 game letting him see it, then another dream I found a puppy, then another dream my sister cleaning my room( and my actual ssister doesn't live in my city i haven't seen her in a long time), and so on. you get the picture.

And yet everyday i watch girl pics, i watch tv shows with girls, i think about girls and nothing.


If Dreams are made in part of Day residue and my days consits of thinking of girls alot, then why girls don't make much of a appearance in my dreams.?:(

High quality, smart, beautiful dream girls might be staying away because they are afraid you will treat them like an adult film star. When the girl of your dreams does show up be prepared to treat her with respect and romance her for a while before XXX.

What you would call "last dreams"? I hope you realize that even with a decent recall, you forget loads of dreams every night. Besides that, your daily residue is not processed daily: some memories can actually show up in your dreams days later after being experienced.

To add to that, the process of memory encoding is actually continuous and extremely complex. Memories aren't stored in a specific part of your brain, they are scattered in clusters of neuron which can get changed every time you recall something. Add this the unknown mechanic of dream content expression, and you get why most of times you can't make any sense of your dreams. A theory even states that your dreams are totally random, with no regards to an actual purpose in terms of plot.

Just focus on your lucid dreaming, and I'm sure you'll get the experiences you're looking to ;)

yeah I'll treat her with respect. Just dating and stuff. If you read my other thread, i don't really always want to DO IT with my dream girls. I just want to date and talk and stuff.
I wonder if my dream girl will be short or taller than me. Have you guys ever had girls and they were really tall or tiny. ? like a Giant or a tiny mouse size.
One time i had a Sx dream and i was like a Bee.(size of a bee) while my girl was normal human size

Just seeing stuff in the day doesn't mean it will turn up in your dreams - it needs to be somehow emotional. For instance, if something happens involving a girl that frightens you or makes you feel fantastic, then chances are you'll dream about it. But you'll dream about the emotion more likely than just the girl. So to increase chances of dreaming about girls, you need to do stuff with girls (rather than just watch them on TV etc). This way your emotions get involved - whether that means anger, fright, love, desire, whatever. This kind of emotion is what will make you dream about girls (though it doesn't mean you'll like all the dreams).

It's likely that you've given up on the idea of getting together with a girl, and this might be why you don't dream about them. If you're staying away from them because you're afraid to try anything, then you're not going to be dreaming about them. But give it a shot - take the same chances any guy needs to take in order to get a girl - face the fear, sink or swim. Then I can almost guarantee you'll be dreaming about girls, and quite likely the same girls you're talking to IWL. Some of the dreams will be really bad, some will be really good. You just need to get real girls involved in your life in a way that provokes emotions.

Thanks alotthat was very informative. :) Well i'm disabled and i can't talk much. The only girls i meet daily (and they are real) are in skype. chat . And daily girls that i meet and interact with are at the support center i go to. I don't really talk to them great difficult topics and get into great conversations cause i can't talk and think well but we just do games and stuff and activities with them.

They're are always like College age Volunteer girls. Maybe that's why my dreams are about College many times including the dream yesterday :)

But yeah, i dont really have a deep emotional stuff with girls. I just meet those girls and basic hello and basic happy talk and laughter while playing games and so on.
And i always like the girls. Wouldn't that be an emotion? I feel wonderful feeling that they're nice and help me and others in the center.

Please don't think so low about yourself, you seem like a great person to me and you should learn to feel a self-respect for yourself.
Girls actually tend to judge a guy's sex appeal from his personality and charisma more than anything else, so if you can allow yourself to feel comfortable with yourself as a person, relax and flirt casually (and respectfully, of course) with the girl you like then you will be considered a lot more attractive to the ladies. :D:content:
Remember, if you have negative thoughts about yourself then people will notice that and feel insecure around you, so don't let your concerns about your disabilities affect what you think of yourself as an individual.

Also, I saw you mention that you were very good at dream incubation (in other words, the ability to decide what you want to dream about), so you could actually use that as a dreamsign.
Decide that you will dream about a certain event, then keep reminding yourself while you fall asleep that you are going to associate that event with being in a dream.
I know that you find it hard to remember things in general, but memory skills can be practiced and improved.

I hear you, it's frustrating when you want something to show up in your dreams and it never seems to!

Regarding girls -- I don't know how old you are, but I think what you need is a chance to interact with girls who understand where you're coming from. Is there somewhere you can meet girls that have a similar disability? Just as you're sitting there thinking that you don't have a chance with any girls, there are many girls out there that have a disability, thinking that means they'll never have a chance to meet any guys.

I think with incubation expectation and effort spent visualizing matter. I don't myself have the right recipe, but I think that really believing that you'll have a particular dream, and every day several times per day imagine a scene playing out the way you'd like to in a dream, and in enough time (I'm not sure how much is required...days, weeks, months even), you'll start to have these dreams. Just like lucidity, it takes your brain a while to catch on to what you want, but if you're persistent and regularly practice the visualisations, they should occur eventually...

Ok. I have been following your posts and I am sorry that many people are focused on your waking life. I know your body is damaged and the path of lucid dreaming is your best hope for the things you want. I want to help you get there. Of course if you get good at LDing then you can summon women, but lets start small.

Just having good dreams about women would be fufilling. Lets start there.

You build up the power to dream in steps. The first step is always recall. You need to write down key words that will help you remember your dreams. You could also just repeat them in your mind over and over. So when you wake pick a couple words that your dream had in it. So maybe the words are 'outside' and 'van'. Repeat them about twenty times or write them. Then through out the day you try to picture why those words stuck out. Day dream about what your dream may have been. You will improve quickly.

The other step you can do at the same time is repeating a phrase in your mind over and over as you are falling asleep. Also picture some very basic image. For you I suggest the image be a pretty girl reaching up to touch your cheek affectionately. Picture it in slow motion over and over.
I would repeat a simple phrase like this "I will see you in my dream"

Stick to this for many nights and let us know if you have a good dream about a pretty girl

Thanks everybody and Sivason. Yes I did manage to dream about a girl. but lately the last 4 days i haven't had dream recall for some reason. So its been dissapointing. but
in my girl dream, wel it was the last part of the dream, in some school setting a girl was walking up to me and I was shaping her as she was coming. I was shaping her mentally making her more beautiful. It kind of felt like i had control kind of like lucid (although i wasn't lucid).

So i shaped her as she was comgin to me.

THen i deeped kissed her hard. It was awesome. And then i said WOw. and then i decided to deep kiss her again. Then i started feeling like climaxing so i said in the dream "I know what happens if i keep going(i wil have wet dream), so i better stop" and i woke up.

THat was cool.
very short though and i would've wished just Dated her and walked with her instead going for the hot stuff and climaxing right away.

So you see you can do it. Now it's just a matter of time and experience, lather / rinse / repeat :). And have fun with the experimenting. After a while you'll calm down and be able to have a more relaxed "courting." Same thing with LDs, first bunch of them you're running around like crazy out of control, then you start to get a grip over time.

Congrats! I am glad you had that dream. I hope you will have thousands more, and I agree, now it is just a matter of practice and experience.

Tonight i had 2 dream reacalls too. that was great. And both the dreams had Girls in them. One of them was a movie star from real life. For some reason she was the Boss at a company I infiltrated without them knowing. I had been kicked out of that Temp job and i went in without them knowing. That women, i didn't interact with her much but it was cool. She was one movie star from a comedy movie.

The second dream was kind of scary because the girl i met was a bit insane and i didn't want her to follow me and she kept following me. And then started to plan how to get rid of her without her going insane and wanting revenge. hahaha. but it was cool anyways.

The thing that made me have girls in my dreams was that when close my eyes to sleep i kept saying mantras and i also kept saying the 'I remember my dreams " mantra.

The only difference between the expert LDers who have frequent LDs and those who just want them but don't have them is that the experts never gave up. *Never Give Up*. There's a motivational sports video on youtube which includes the phrase "you have to want it like you want to breathe."

If you can fall asleep while visualizing (I wouldn't try to do this right away if you're still having issues getting to sleep), I've found very often that images and scenes I imagine while falling asleep at bedtime show up in my dreams.

Hey, now you are dating dream girls! In waking life the girls are often enough crazy! You are just giving yourself the whole picture, lol. Great work. It will just get better and better.

Actually there's another lesson to take away from your success here: it takes a while for your brain/SC to internalize your desires. So just keep up with the daydreaming/visualization of all your desired scenes, and over time, they will seep into your dreams. Same with lucid intention and techniques -- do not become frustrated if you don't get instant results, it takes time, different time for everybody....and it's worth the investment!

Hi FryingMan. Just in case you missed it I had my first Lucid dream yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was awesome. I did mantras and all my RC during the day and awareness practice and i used the "i'm dreaming" mantra that some people here in the site said it was a great mantra. Well it worked :)

I started dream journaling since like a month ago. Finally got results:cheeky:
