When I dream it feels like reading

Whenever I dream the dreams feel like I am reading or watching a movie that is extremely out of focus, I am not actually in the dream, and at all times I can tell it is a dream as they are never vivid, and it feels like I have no control over anything that happens

I recommend maintaining a regular, healthy sleep schedule (bed before midnight!) and keeping a dream journal. This sounds like a vividness problem, which will be solved by both. Keep in mind that you really have to work at a dream journal, but you will see results as early as a week. There are also food supplements and vitamins you can take to increase vividness of dreams.

Here is a good list of foods that help before bedtime, or throughout the day:

      -Vitamin B6
      -Tryptophan
      -5-HTP

Really anything that boosts Serotonin production!

Remember, first comes vivid dreams, then comes control.
