Using the tv/computer as a lucid tool :? Opininons please

Hello. As we all know watching tv/ movies on our computers put us in a trance alpha state similar to dreaming. So i was wondering why not do our reality checks during those and similar activities ? It sounds logical.. questioning reality in that mind state will lead to questioning reality in dream state.

If i wake up then quickly play a videogame for 10 -15 minutes THEN go back to sleep i sometimes dream of the game and that can trigger lucidity. i guess watching a vivid cartoon could do the same so yes i believe your theory could help people to develop their lucidity skills.
