... these past few weeks and started keeping a DJ and incorporating various techniques for induction/recognition/awareness into my day, I've noticed three episodes that stand out.
1) A dream fragment where I'm thinking about dreaming and how to improve my dream recall.
2) A real short dream fragment doing a nose plug RC.
3) Then last night I did something really weird and out of character for me in a dream. I requested a DC to help me change the content of the dream by introducing an erotic female fantasy DC. She agreed and had me sit in a reclining chair and then aimed this gargantuan beam thingy at me and said it would feel weird but I'd be okay, however it might not turn out exactly how I wanted. Yeah, it felt weird. A warming and tingling sensation in the pit of my stomach and then the DC I was envisioning walked into the scene. Now it didn't turn out how I anticipated, however the conjured DC told me it could but that was up to me to figure out.
Now I've been in all sorts of bizarre dream scenarios and have done all sorts of wild and impossible things (none ever lucid), like the other night I was at a friend's house for a big party and a hurricane rolled it over and I said 'No problem, I can fix this', and I did be walking up the floor (which was now a wall) and using my weight to leverage the house right-side up.
But I've always gone with the flow of the dream, never being aware there was an alternative and certainly never thinking I could change it or I could request a DC to aid in changing it.
I guess all the attention I'm putting into DJing, SAT, RCs, PM and all is imprinting on my subconscious and starting to percolate up into my dreams? Doe that sound like a reasonable explanation/possibility?
EDIT: To Mods/Admin - Wasn't sure where this fit. These are non-lucid dreams but the background is flavored with lucidity. Feel free to move it to a more appropriate forum/sub-forum.
