Anyone else has Alice In Wonderland related dreams? (shrinking/giant size) Please post here!

What does it mean to grow to be about 8 feet something tall in a dream?
I had an odd dream that I was in my hallway near my room, looking at a hallway Full Length Mirror and all of a sudden I started to grow to be about at least 8 feet 3 inches tall. I was tall enough that I banged my head on the ceiling. I even tried to walk into my room, at one point but, I hit my head on the doorway, *whack*. In fact everyone looks so short in my dream. I remember feeling surprised but, happy that this was happening. What does that mean?

The dream I had last night, I was at my sister's house and my niece was there with her friends. I remember that began to shrink down to about the size as a toddler height or smaller. I had trouble trying to get up on one of the couches there. My niece appeared to be her age as she is now. I was staying overnight there and one moment I was at my normal height and the next I was toddler size, small fry. They helped me get up on the couch by stacking pillows and building blocks in the form of stairs so I can get up on the couch.

Another dream that I had once, that I woke up in a vending machine. I'm not sure what time it was or even what day it was but, I saw a giant Twix bar, a massive Jellybelly Jellybeans, and a colossal bag of Planter's roasted peanut. All the candy is protected behind a spiralling, silver ring. The walls were all black and I saw cards with labels like A11 and A13. I know I'm in a vending machine.
It's hard to pinpoint quite how I feel. It's not terror. I'm half an inch tall, it won't take much to sustain me. There's plenty of air. I wouldn't say that in the dream that I wouldn't feel great about having to bite into a Twix bar I haven't paid for, but I wouldn't feel guilty either. I'm not really confused because since I've been having these dreams since I was little situations have occurred. But, I don't remember how I got there and that's troubling. I guess that's what happens when you drink before you go to bed.


So, that's me but, how about you guys, do you have any strange shrinking/ Dealing with GIANTS!!! or growing dreams? Please Post here!!

I woulden't involve friends etc. i would just take the mirror as a sign that you see urself 'bigger'. Which is excellent!

In the dream last night I was a part of a gang , like the runaways (tv show). I think there were eight of us and they were getting kidnaped. There were only 2 or 3 of us left. I think that my super power was seeing into the future or something like that. I think that Kacey ( my friend) got kidnaped (leaving only 2 people). It might have been that there was a woman in charge and then had a man doing her work. I stalked this man who went into a shop. I wasn’t sure if he saw me but then decided to pretend I didn’t know he was kidnaping my friends and talk to him. I asked if he had seen Kacey and he said he hadn’t seen him (Kacey is a girl). I started to follow this man somewhere . I knew it was a trap but though if I followed him a bit then I would know where the others were being kept. The man was Mr. Sir from “holes” and the woman he was working for may have been Sigourney weavers character from that film. I think we got near to the destination but then I decided that I would go back and get help from a friend before trying to rescue them. I left Mr. Sir and went through a dark swampish place for a while until I think I got to a cottage. I don’t think I went in but this signalled a friendlier place. I walked down the path and there were blue flowers . I took one as I knew it would be a good marker for when I came back. I then passed a school and there were children in it . I still didn’t want to be seen so I ducked and I had bad feelings about the school and the people in it, I still wan’t out of this strange place I followed mr sir into. I think a child saw me but I hid quickly and I don’t think the school master was alerted. I then went out of this field area and saw a boy playing the guitar. I think I asked if he was a normal boy (as where I had been was strange) I said he looked like a normal boy and knew that I was close to a familiar place.

I only now remembered that in fact I had many incidents when I woke up from being overwhelmed by such a change in dimensions, getting too gigantic usually. I don't know what to make of it, I need to put more attention to dream analysis I guess.

What fantastic dreams, I never experienced a dream where I'm not in the right size, I'd like to have one, it must be super cool

Then there is this one where I went back in time to ancient Rome. I was jailed and even sentenced to death. I grew to be a giant to escape. I remember saying something sarcastic at them that they didn't like and then they attacked me with their little weapons. The feeling of getting stabbed by their tiny swords felt like getting attacked by toothpicks which tickled. The earth quaked in every step that I took.

By the way, the day I answered to your question I read about such dreams in Carl Jung's Man and his Symbols, he wrote it's a very common in dreams to grow gigantic and he also wrote about Alice in Wonderland, the book actually contains an image of her being stuck in little place with her gigantic body. Carl concludes that even though all dreams are individual stuff, such dreams usually happen when a person has some inferiority complex, to compensate what is lacking in the real life, so to speak.

HAHA! Aren't we all lacking something in our lives?

That's it though, some of those dreams that I shared were lucid, like some of those links that I shared. I wasn't intending for an interpretation but, rather sharing of something that people may have experienced and maybe who knows, I could help you guys experience those kinds of dreams for yourselves.
No, I don't have Todd, Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (AWS) or Lilliputian hallucinations, or I don't have Dissociative identity disorder (DID),as far as I know. Though, you would start to wonder if you can have that in dreamland, but, for me, that's probably not the case. Have you even read any of my Lucid in the tasks of the months? I know exactly why I have some of my dreams. I'm not a clueless space cadet, you know. But, um, you know, life's funny. I'm it's not like I haven't shrunk myself down and sent myself overnight delivery before in a dream. Hey, the postal service is very reliable, you know? They do tracking numbers now. Like UPS. :P Or done stuff that inquired me to go big. *shrugs*
But, if you really need help with those kinds of dreams, I may help. For me, those dreams are not negative. Thanks for your insight though.

Non-Lucid: I had a dream the other day was about smart Hulk. He wasn't the calm and somewhat optimistic Hulk that was in the new movie. He was, however, smart enough to know what he could do with the Pym particles that he stole... In the dream, I recall that he was angry. As a Giant Hulk, he put his foot thru Sam's Club that I was in and nearly killed my friend, Brian Booth and me. I remember landing hard against a wall in the dream. The walls were painted navy blue. I remember friend Brian somehow landed on my left arm which prevented him from hitting his on against the wall... I remember my arm ached but, mostly felt numb. Then I recall blacking out. Oh that outcome, it's not good.

I had a dream last night about being at a fancy hotel in China, last night, I remember trying to fit through the doorframe but, I was a giant in the dream and my shoulders were preventing me from being able to go through after was I chased some guy with a sphere thing.

This dream started when I was sitting between the couch and coffee table with one side with my mom, Hope, and my sister. On the other side, there was this Dream Character guy who was playing that game Jenga with my friend, Boothy, Kevin, and Luis. He didn't seem to like me that much in the dream. From the start of the dream, I could feel that this guy stared at me like he had daggers in his eyes. I felt uncomfortable around him. Even my friends can sort of noticed it too. I don't know, the guy reminds me a little like, Atticus Shaffer but, acted like he thought he was Joe Pesci?

This was when this guy looked at me like I just committed a sin and started yelling at me. Then he got up and started walking around looking for some camera negatives for evidence of something that he thought I did to him, a long time ago? I didn't even feel like I knew this guy.
I remember that this was when I decided that I needed to go talk to him because I had no clue why he was so mad at me. when I asked what was wrong but, then he wouldn't say anything to me... Why was this guy giving me a cold shoulder? I remember saying, "Look, whatever I did, I'm sorry?"
I genuinely didn't know why this guy was acting this way but, I felt sort of guilty that if I did something then it must have been bad. For some reason, my mind in the dream wanted to work out the problem with a guy that I didn't know.
Then I noticed that he was drinking something clear in a small clear tube. I kept thinking that he was drunk or high.
Then he hugged me. I thought it was resolved but, then all of a sudden, he puked all over me, on the plumb color blazer that I was wearing. The next thing, I knew he was full of rage and slammed my head on the wall that looked simultaneously massive and microscopic like a leg of a table. I found myself on the floor with my head bleeding. I remember that I felt an egg forming on the left side of my head. I can feel my head just throbbing... I think at this point, I was no longer human-size for a moment because the size depletion changed.
Everything was fuzzy but, I think he kicked me while I was on the ground. Back to normal size, I remember feeling every kick until I blacked out. When I came to, my friends started arguing with him. At this point, this guy's face looks was distorted and morphed to a guy that I went to school with, Philp D. He was someone that already had some facial deformities so, it was very hard to tell that I was dreaming.
In the dream, someone noted that it was raining outside. (Stupidly didn't RC or question the reality of the dream when the emotion were high in the dream. And just aimlessly went on in the dream until I wokE up! )- Note
I remember he was trying to say that they were going to blame Lisa for what happened to me. Then when this person, Lisa who was on crutches came in. It must have just happened. there is no way she would have done this anyway.
I remember at this point, now felt that I more like I was now at my high school but, that was only for a moment.
Then I remember that my friends helped carried me to some on-campus Hospital that looked like a Military Medical building. I could feel the cool rain hit the back of my neck as I had trouble walking... I was wearing military clothes? I kept telling friends I didn't want to go and that I was fine.
I could feel that there was something warm streaming down the side of my head...
When we got there the doctors asked me if I knew what happened. I could tell them in the dream... I just could NOT express it... I had a concussion in the dream. [The DC told me I had a concussion in the dream/ but, I had trouble speaking]They looked at me, they asked me how I got here. I answered with my friends carried me but, my friends disappeared.

Long story short, Jen Pipper, a popular girl became a giant in front of my house and freaked out because she was stuck as a giant for 24 hours, I recall telling her, "It's Okey! I do it all the time!!" That is when she burst into tears and broke some things; including the roof of my house, and some police cars!

back in 11/28/2018- Took a potion and I could feel my body shrinking. My clothes felt big on me. Becky from camp was there. She helping me with stuff. I could feel like I was unable to reach the table at some old timer at a Doctors office. I was the size as a child.

Playing with a DC's pets, in a very small house/ room (micropsia) feeling like I was in a tight spot.

The coolest thing happened to me last night. I think it was from reading this thread. I tried to befriend a beautiful praying mantis by mirroring its movements. Then suddenly, we switched bodies. I was the mantis. There was this warm fullness of confidence I'd never experienced. It was amazing. I was glorious in all my mantid magnificence. I felt perfect. I looked at my former human coat and knew that I would devour it if it were smaller. Especially the eyes. They piqued my hunger like mad. Eventually though, I became my self conscious and clumsy human self. Don't recall the switch back. I continued to follow the mantis.
So, I wasn't a tiny human but this is the first dream were I was a tiny something... but as I was tiny I felt immense and integral to existence. Larger than I have ever felt. It was a strange and stupendous experience.
