      dream companion for lucidity extension

A thought came to me last night, and I was wondering if anyone had tried something like this. interaction with a the dreaming world is what helps keep you lucid. So, if you generate a girlfriend/boyfriend and walk around holding hands, would that continued contact with a DC stimulate a continuous level of greater awareness, thus prolonging your dream? This could also be extended to suggest that you create some other object such as a backpack on your back that you blatantly feel, a weapon in your hand if you are into that, etc.. I'd love some input from anyone who has given this a go with success or otherwise. Since I just thought of it last night, and my lucidity was only marginal in one dream, I have not had a chance to give it a look. Thanks.

I guess that could work, but you'd have to keep yourself consciously aware of the object/person you create or you might as well just not have them there - you need to be focusing on the sensation of touch they are producing otherwise you might end up falling out of lucidity like any other lucid dream where you've lost awareness and clarity...

Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
