Does this happen to anyone else? I don't know what this means.

Sometimes, not very often, but sometimes while I am dreaming I can feel everything that's happening to me in the dream happen to my real life body. It also happens while I am waking up or fully awake. For example, if I dream that someone kicks my knee I'll really feel the pain in my knee. This has been happening for a long time now and the first time it happened I was shocked and confused. Then I just forgot about it and continued about my day. After a while I just kept forgetting and not really caring. But recently it happened again and it was strange because in that dream I was not the one going through everything. I saw someone else experiencing it but I still felt everything after I woke up. Does this only happen to me? Is this strange/not normal?

i haven't had it happen that major. I hear sounds in my dream that come from real life, and one time i was carrying a notebook and when i woke up it felt like i was still carrying it but it looked down and realised it was my blanket. That's as far as i've ever had it.
