Dreaming about a dead friend..........

Hello Folks, I am the new kid on the block and hope I'm in the correct forum section. I have occasional dreams about dead relatives and friends. Most of the time the dreams are very general in nature. Two nights ago I dreamed I was in a theater with a good friend. I walked past the front row and saw our very good mutual friend (died over a year ago) was sitting in the front row with other friends. I told her I was going to get "Kathy" as she would be thrilled to see her again! We ran up to talk to her so happy to know she was still with us. The next instant my dead friend was standing in the lobby farther away from us holding a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers. When I asked her where she was going she said, "they all left me" or "they left me here". Really can't remember the exact wording. She was then surrounded by a brilliant white light and disappeared. I remember sitting on the floor teary-eyed wondering where she went. Deep huh? It's been making me nuts every since and I can't get it out of my mind. I've had other dreams about her, but nothing like that. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks to all - Rckinrobin

It's completely normal for dreams about dead close ones to be really emotional. You're probably just making peace with the past and you're sad that your friend is no longer with you. Your mind reflects the feelings you're experiencing deep down with dreams like these. It's good to have experiences like these where the shadows of the deceased ones are not scary or disturbing, but bright and calm, though sad at times.
