What is the Oldest Dream You Remember having?

Have you ever had a dream long ago but you still remember it today? Do you remember it well or does only a fragment remain?

I had a dream once, way back in my early childhood before I entered school (as in, school altogether), so I was probably like three or four years old. One day my family had gone looking around for a primary school to enroll me in, and I can remember us going in to look at a particular school. It was in a closer-to-city area with a playground that was had a blue shade held up over it by iron poles. I don't remember the real life experience myself, but I do remember a slight feeling of nervousness and tenseness. When I got home I dreamed some days later about that very school in a dream version, the playground under the blue shade cover and a feeling of nervousness and uneasiness, an alien feeling of being in a new place, wondering whether or not it would be my new school were the things I would remember for years and years, even when I would never see that school again as I would go to a different one for my actual primary school.

What about you guys? What sort of dreams have you remembered for a long time?

Not sure which came first, but my earliest dreams are:

A brief snippet of me falling down the flight of stairs that led up to my mum's flat when I was four. It was occuring in slow motion and I was terrified.

And

For some reason, massive wildlife enclosure of sorts had appeared at the back of my nana's house. I was trapped inside a dark forest where a leapard (or some other big cat) was pursuing me. Also quite scary.

Here's one from before I moved overseas, so I would have been anywhere between 2-4 1/2 years old. But probably not 2.
It was of my old house in Sydney where I had grown up. The dream itself was a bit of a voyage, but I only remember this little snapshot clearly:

I was walking back to the entrance of my house. Like almost every dream I have, it was warm and sunny, a little dusty. I could feel myself getting burned. All of the green had vanished and every tree that would be in the same place in reality had gone either golden, orange or brown. Above my house was a small blizzard of witches and faeries that were, again, the same muted colours as the rest of the dream had become. They were old and had wiry hair, none of them had any kind of brooms or wings with them. They were just cackling to themselves up there.
What's odd is they were incredibly sharp. I remember...this will sound weird, but I distinctly remember being confused because all of the flying things were angular enough that they might as well have all been wearing giant Madonna bras. The ones that are literally just triangles.

Their giant pointy boobs, man. Why.

The first dream I remember was a recurring nightmare at about five years old.
I'm on the bank of the river and some kind of crocodile or giant lizard crawling towards me from the water. Firs couple times I tried to run but didn't make it and waked up. On the last time I strangled it. It was the las time I had a nightmare. Since then I don't afraid of anything in my dreams.

The oldest dream I can remember having was when I fell off the top of a church, and my head came off (Yep I know, it was an odd dream!)

Also I remember having a dream where I was in a house with the old Casualty music playing in a room.. that music always freaked me out afterwards.

I was 4 or 5, i had a nightmare of 3 witches hunting me down in an empty castle, it was so terrifying and this nightmare came back so many nights again and again... But one day, i was able to tell in my dream that i was dreaming because i knew what's gonna happen and I faught them. They never came back after that but i will never forget!

I was at an Ikea at night and they had this school nightcare thing. So I was in a classroom and this kid back talked the teacher, so she got a metallic scarf and put it around his neck and plugged it in and electrocuted the kid. After I walked out of the room and it had lots of vegetation, vines, trees, and for some reason a waterfall, then a girl my age came in and started talking to me, and I think we fell in love, we may have kissed or something. The next thing I remember about the dream was leaving and driving away with my mom.

I had a lucid dream when I was 5. That's probably the oldest I can recall. I was outside talking to some dream characters and spontaneously realized I was dreaming. I started flying and woke up while above the house. When I was 8 I wrote down my dreams for the first time. One was about following blue glowing butterflies to the well in our backyard. Second one was about building a pillow fort with my brother and can't recall the third.

Fragments kind of disturbing ones... When I was young.

When I was around 3, I remember dreaming that 2 thieves had stolen my favourite lamb from the farm I grew up on. I remember feeling so closely connected to her that I could see what they were doing to her, how they were torturing her. I remember chasing the thieves up the side of a sky scraper, where they dangled the lamb from the top. I remeber following them around a dark forest and finding my lamb, drowned, in a pond full of starfish.

My oldest dream was actually a nightmare. I have no idea how old I was, I don't remember much of my childhood ( did I even have one?), but I will never forget that dream...even though its not really scary anymore, it scared the crap out of me back then. I was with my dad and brothers and we were looking at this house . Inside I found this room that had one of those canopy beds draped with all pink. I ran over to it, saying that this was gonna be my room and sat on the bed. Without warning these hands came up from the bed and grabbed me, held me there and a voice said 'whoever sleeps in this bed will get their head chopped off!' I screamed and woke up. Yes, I had a messy childhood and I guess it leaked into my dreams...

I was around 3 or 4 and had a nightmare where the characters from Winnie the Pooh grew large, grey needle-like fangs. That's all I remember about the dream really, but it was scary enough at the time for me to think about it/remember it several times growing up; at the very least, often enough for me to still remember it happening.

I had this the end of November of 2013. Forgive the spelling I wrote it as soon as I woke up. I don't think it was lucid and I rarely remember my dreams at all. I remembered this one so clearly that it scared me a little lol.. btw, devin and Dylan are my two brothers.

Me and some family members got into a fight with a guy that we couldn't beat up. We chased him down started beating him with sticks and paddles and kicking him. A pit bull came out of nowhere and attacked one of my brothers. My brother knocked it off him but was hurt so I ran over there and the pit bull grabbed my arm. I pushed it up against a fenced in yard and threw it in the yard. I ran back and started kicking the person again. I noticed he had big purple bruises all over his body and was coughing really bad. Then I started yelling " I got a bad feeling let's go." Over and over again." We all ran back to the house and before we got there heard police. I ran under the house and hid in a corner but a police officer at the other end of the house stuck his head under and told me to lay down and I did. Another officer came to my side of the house and told me to come out. I got out and somehow it was on the front porch and the cop was an old wield looking lady in uniform. My mom was on the porch too. We started talking and we walked across the street to a wooden privacy fence with a little gap on the very left side that I had used to run from the cops when I was a kid. She said " you could run now and prolly get away. Alot of people have. But we wouldn't stop chasing you." I said that I had used that way before. She said more but I can't really remember. The more she talked the more I wanted to run so I ran. But I didn't use that way. I ran back to the road and ran to the stop sign and then left. I ran as fast as I could all the way down the street. I could hear her calling for the male cop in the background. I made it to the end of the street where there was woods when I was a kid but it was a neighborhood now. I ran across a little bridge into the neighborhood that was crowded with people and kept running I ran untill I finally got to woods and seen a trail. I took the trail and kept running. I seen a young woman cop in uniform but she didn't bother me. I turned a curve and seen a motorcycle i got on it And took off. I came across and older man with motorcycles and four wheelers In his yard. I talked to him but can't remember much and he agreed and got on my motorcycle and I got on a four wheeler. We took off and he left to be a distraction. I went up the side of a little mountain in the four wheeler and there was motorcycles racing below me. I got to a point that I couldn't go anymore and went down the mountain which was straight down. I got to the bottom and wrecked but got back up and took off. I got away and ended up on a boat with my mom Devin and Dylan. There may have been others but I didn't acknowledge any of them. I was talking to Devin and asked him some stuff but I can't really remember it all but then he said " wait till I take my Roxie's cause I talk a hundred miles an hour when I take them. It confused me but then I asked where's Dylan they said he was dead but I saw him asleep on the boat. I yelled and told him to wake up a bunch of times but he never would. Now that I think about it I think he was in a suit and tie. I started talking to Devin again and asked him how long it had been? He said it had been seven years. I started crying and looked at momma who laughed and said what's wrong. I was yelling "seven years I have only been gone six months??! ?" While holding eight fingers up. She kept laughing and said eighteen years? I looked over and Dylan was awake. I smiled and asked him what kinda meds he was on and he said a name that I don't remember. Although it started with a b. I asked him a question but he just stared into nothing. Then I noticed a tube coming out of his head. Devin said I told you he's dead. And Devin started ranting on about everyone being dead. Then I woke up.
