      Reoccurring Dream about a Spider.

During my dream, I was running really fast like the flash visiting places and doing stuff a speedster would do.
Then while I was running I felt a sticky substance slow me down. When I looked at it it was a spider's Web.
Next thing I know I was running from a giant spider with half women and half spider. She has only one eye.

I am terrify by the half women half spider thing that follows me around in my dreams. She is not friendly I've caught
her killing people in my dreams and taking them to her layer for food.

Is there any way to interpret this dream or finding a way to stop her from attacking me any further. I've given the thought of
becoming lucid to confront her but I've been inactive in Lucid Dreaming for more than 7 years. I have a very good memory of dreams
because I used to record them way back when. I usually dream about this creature on a daily or weekly basis.

Any help Interpreting what the Half Women Half Spider means would be of help, I know I didn't give much but its a start I'll keep updating the data on the
      reoccurring dream.

      Thanks. Gamma.

Cool The Spider and Eye ☻

Maybe you're too much in a hurry. Or are running because the effect of your fear slowed you down, or made you stuck, or holds you back.
Maybe the spider's web means interconnections between you and others. The woman can mean this. Half this, half fear, and only one-eyed, instead of many eyes a spider has ☻☻☻☻☻☻, along with its many legs which may fit how you are joined to others.
      //\\O//\\
So she is not the friendly idea you want, and kills people, so this fear feeds on them.

Spiders are such a common phobia and I wonder if you are afraid of them when awake. If you are afraid of spiders, facing that fear in the real world may help you face the fear in your dream. I love spiders and always encourage that love in others.

Thank you for trying to interpret it, as of now I still dream of it very often about it but I am yet to become lucid when this happens to try to confront it.

To be honest I am not afraid of spiders at all, but something in my subconscious is trying to tell me something about a women and spider and she is very aggressive.
I recently found a blog post about how to look at it. Basically what it says is too look at the spider as it would naturally be in nature like : spiders are predators, they built intricate webs they have 8 legs etc. Then try to identify what i relate to. Thus far I have no Idea what spiders mean to me specially one that has half body of a women and the bottom half as a spider.

      Thank you for your reply.

      Hi there Gamma,

Recurring dreams only mean that you still have this matter on your mind and have, yet, to resolve it.

Your dream starts off with you in flight... You're running... Running indicates a need to avoid something... A confrontation, maybe... Dream says what you are trying to accomplish ("visiting places and doing stuff-"), you are either being prevented or you are, indeed, being slowed down from doing your everyday tasks ("a sticky substance slow me down"). This "sticky" substance you describe as a "spider's web" shows you may have gotten caught up in something... Webs are creative and are created to catch prey... Therefore, someone may be playing with you to get you in a situation....

Let's talk about this spider..... Insects, animals etc.. are the character nature of individuals known by the dreamer. What that means is instead of viewing the individual in question, the dream disguises this information by providing the nature of the character you know. You see them for the way of their behavior. So, here, is a spider present.

Again, spiders are creative... a process carrier who is at work building something to ensnare ("web") another.

Interesting, though, is you know it's a woman.... ("half women and half spider") and there may be more than one individual putting you in this position that you are avoiding. With that said, you mentioned there is only one eye on this creature.... The eyes show that an individual has knowledge of a matter... Certainly, you don't see eye to eye as you are running, here...
