A small weird experience i had

So in my dream, somehow my mind was able to make this up, we went inside this building and some guy handed me and my girlfriend some "Banana grapes". They looked exactly like grapes but they were yellow and looked old and gross. They were all still on their stem, and looked very stiff. They looked more like they were part of the stem, rather than attached. The stem was also the same dark yellow as the grapes themselves were. I tried one and it was super crunchy/juicy, tasted like an old, juicy banana. It sounds pretty much exactly as gross as it was. Euggh. Anyway, have you guys had any cool experiences with the less common senses (like in my opinion the less common ones would be Taste, Hearing, and Smell)? I'm really interested to hear if you guys have had any experiences with those senses

I've had dreams about tomatoes from the garden that tastes like strawberries and savory. I've even eating light bulbs in a dream that tasted like light potato chips, just a couple of days ago. They were pretty good too. The next time, you are about to taste something in your dream, maybe you could try to think of something sweet before you take a bite. Just a humble suggestion. :D

Hearing is pretty common for me.. Are your lucids mostly silent? I do enjoy tasting stuff from time to time.Most of the time they taste how their suppose to taste. Unless I think of it tasting like something else before I try it. My most recent taste i think was a cough drop. It was minty and cracked/crunched in my mouth. Which your not supposed to do with a cough drop.Dont recall if I was lucid or not but the texture and effect was similar from the time i ate a hard candy in WL that becomes chewy when you bite the center.However, since I dont pay much attention to smell, I feel like smell can be pretty memorable to me. I remember a dream where I walked into a room that smelled beautiful. Maybe like flowers/perfume.

I should mention this dream was not lucid. It was quite the adventure though. I'll go make a DJ Entry.

I really don't hear much in my dreams for some reason. I do sometimes but it's rare. It's usually only when people are talking to me

Uncommon? To me it's normal. I've been deaf and blind in a dream before. With the same principle as changing your thought of the taste, either you are lucid or not you can think to see, hear smell or anything else and with practice, you would be able to correct it. I would personally go lucid to correct it. Stabilize my lucid. ;)

Ohh, okay. I see what you mean now. I thought you might not hear anything at all. Its possible not to hear anything but I always end up hearing some type of sound fx in most of my dreams but yeah not everything makes a sound.

Unless, if you made it a "well-tuned dream" then everything would have a sound in the dream. :D

I've never been concerned with sound in that manner to try and make it a well tuned dream where everything makes a sound. It would be interesting to pay close attention to each possible sound you could come into contact with though. In WL we dont notice every sound so thats another reason it be interesting I guess.:3
