Thread: Auditory fever hallucinations right after going to bed?

So I've been sick for a couple of days. Got a mild fever, and I've noticed a couple of weird effects and I'm wondering if it could be related. LOUD noises that feel like they're moving "through" my head. Like for example a car noise paired with the sensastion that some immaterial object went in through my one ear and out the other. Or insect noises of the same kind. I was mindful so I know it happened before I even got tired or started to drift off. It started just a few minutes after I went to bed. If this had been WILD transission type stuff I would have been able to handle it and move through. But it was different.

My temp is between 37,5C and 38C somewhere. So nothing major. I didn't think hallucinations would happen on fevers this mild, which is why I'm asking. Has anybody had similar experiences?


2 nights ago I had dreams that made me go: "what the fuck is going on" At one point I was looking at a printed photograph of my naked body, morphing into an ever-evolving fractal. I asked what was happening and a dream character told me I was having fever-hallucinations. Later I got lucid but the dream was very unstable.
