This is a positive dream.
But before we get into the nitty-gritty of the actual interpretation, we need to take a look at some background information that will help with the interpretation –
Carl Jung’s approach to psychology –
Jung divided the psyche (or mind) into the consciousness and the unconscious. The self, an archetype, is at the center of the psyche.
1. The consciousness contains those things that we know. For example, I know that I am sitting in front of a computer. The ego is at the center of the consciousness.
2. The unconscious is composed of the personal unconscious and the collective unconscious.
a. The personal unconscious contains those things that we used to know but have since forgotten. For example, I do not remember when I first ate pizza.
b. The collective unconscious contains those things that we never knew. These unknowable things are archetypes. “In Jung's psychological framework, archetypes are innate, universal prototypes for ideas and may be used to interpret observations.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analytical_psychology Archetypes show themselves as symbols in our dreams. An archetype can be almost anything. It can be a shape, an object, a plant, an animal or a person. It can even be an event.
Back to the dream --
As we make an effort to remember and to understand our dreams, certain dream people begin to appear. The boyfriend either represents himself or is a symbol of the animus archetype. The animus is always male and only appears in the dreams of women. (The anima is the female version who only appears in the dreams of men.) Usually during the course of many years, the animus has the potential of going through four stages of development; however, most people never reach the fourth stage..
1. At the first stage, he is “the wholly physical man,” such Tarzan. At his worst, he is an uncaring brute. The animus, especially at this first stage, can appear as a group of rough men.
2. At the second stage, he either the romantic man or the “man of action.”
3. At the next stage, he is the bearer of the “word.” He is a man with a message. He may appear as a politician, a preacher or a college professor.
4. At the fourth and final stage, he is “the wise guide to spiritual truth."

Both the house and the tree represent the dreamer.
The house either represents the dreamer’s physical body, her psyche or something similar.
The tree is one of the most potent archetypes that we see in our dreams. Its meaning is almost always positive.
1. And, as the reader may know, it is found in many of the myths and religions in a wide range of cultures for more than a thousand years.
2. The oak tree is especially powerful. It is the king of plants. The oak tree is to plants as the lion is to animals and the eagle is to birds.
3. In this particular dream, I believe that it represents the growth of the psyche. Its size is a reflection of the dreamer’s development.
4. I’m unsure about the meaning of the dream birds. They may be some sort of messengers or perhaps they help to optimize the effectiveness and growth of the keep the tree/psyche.
As I said this is a positive dream and thanks for posting.
