This is an interesting topic. I don't know that I have ever had dreams with celebrities in a literal sense of the person themself, but sometimes I will have dreams with the characters actors portray. Maybe my memory is failing me, but I don't remember any dreams with famous athletes/music artists/political figures.

      1. As clearly as any other DC. I don't usually have detailed memory of how they look, but occasionally I will, especially if their appearance is somewhat relevant to the dream.
      2. This is harder to give a sure answer on, but generally they act very much in accordance with their character from a show/movie/game.
      3. Usually the same way I feel about their character in waking life. I am annoyed with some of them, I get along really well with some of them, and some of them I am mostly indifferent to. The main difference is in those more vivid, plot-oriented dreams, I react to them in accordance with my role in the dream. Usually though this still revolves around my waking life feelings about them.
      4. More often than not I am indeed the star of my dreams. Sometimes I will be more of a side character, and every once in a while I will watch a dream like a movie, not being involved in the dream at all.
      5. Usually if I relate to a famous character, it seems like an emotional attachment resulting from the story of the dream, or simply a very strong liking of their character in waking life.

Well, this probably wasn't exactly what you were looking for, but your question intrigued me and this is the closest thing I had!

Edit - I can't think of an example, but I feel that occasionally I have had dreams featuring famous historical figures as well.

I am actually a hardcore fangirl so dreams of celebrities are the most common types of dreams that I have.

      1. I've never ever seen any faces vividly in my dreams before. But most of the time, I'm able to see them as clearly as the other people I'm close to in real life. And that's considered pretty vivid to me.

      2. I think they act like how I interpret them in real life. So it may be how I see them on interviews, or how I feel about them at the moment. If I've mixed emotions about them, they might not turn out pleasant in the dream. I've also tried summoning celebrities DC in lucid dreams before, and sometimes they just walk away and ignore me.

      3. If their personalities aren't unpleasant, most of the times I'm really happy around them. And if I'm happy in the dream, I wake up with an increased affection for them.

      4. I'm usually the star of my dream. There are also instances where I know the celebrity is in the dream, but I'm unable to find him/her in my dream.

      5. I don't think I relate to them. My dreams about them are probably because I think about them often or probably because I've been watching too much of their shows.

      4. Are you the star in your dream?
      5. Why do you think you relate to them in your dream?

      1. Yeah, when I see them they're fairly clear.

      2. I don't know how any celebrity acts in real life but I'd wager based on the few dream celebrity interactions I have that they don't act like they would normally nor do they act as their characters would. The four celebrities I can recall act in the following manner:

Morgan Freeman is some sort of cosmic being that censors dreams.

Samuel L. Jackson is the Voice of God, who calls upon mortals to account for their actions and thereby encourage them towards introspection.

Kyle MacLachlan behaves similarly to his character of Dale Cooper... except that he's in reality the "Grandmaster of Croatian Dream Spies" and is infiltrating dreams in order to steal supernatural powers from others.

David Bowie is an enigmatic being with a rotting face and exposed skull who teleports around leaving inter-dimensional rifts in his wake and ... I have no clue what he's doing or what he's after, but the Croatians are trying to track him down at the very least.

While I obviously can't know for sure that the real celebrities do not act in the above manner I'd, well, be surprised to say the least if it turns out they do.

      3. Freeman's sole appearance was hilarious, and made it into one of my "DC's say the Darndest Things" posts, having suddenly appeared, telling me that the dream was "dangerously close to triggering 'the secret memory'" before terminating the dream.

I'm pretty Jackson was a metaphor for God... made me think about a random Baha'i prayer in a new light.

MacLachlan and the rest of the Croatians (four in total: him, an agent undercover as an American woman, an agent undercover as a German stereotype, and a goat wizard) I find infinitely amusing, especially in pondering their schemes and trying to unravel the ridiculous Croatian dream-plot.

No clue what the hell Bowie even is, much less why the Croatians are after him.

      4. No.

      5. For Freeman and Bowie, no idea how to interpret them!!

I'm pretty sure my connection of Jackson as a religious figure stems from Pulp Fiction.

MacLachlan clearly has some Twin Peaks influences, though I have no idea where the Croatian thing comes from. I was only ever vaguely aware of that country's existence before Croatian spies started popping up in my dreams.

I never had any dreams about celebs, even if I'm definitely a movie freak.

I will occasionally dream of celebrities from movies. I am a huge music fan and sometimes dream of musicians or bands, which is freaking awesome.
      1. The always appear clearly in dreams, maybe hyperclear because of who they are.
      2. I think they act like characters they portray, or in the musicians' cases they probably act how I think they would off stage.
      3. Most of the time I'm oblivious to the fact that they are celebrities. Its like they are a normal part of my life. Sometimes I'll go fan crazy but it's rare.
      4. I usually am the star of such dreams, not in the flashy red carpet sense, just that it's my dream and my dream universe usually revolves around me.
      5. I think they appear because they have percieved qualities that I admire and might want to emulate. It feels good to be with them, equals to some degree, so much so that if feels natural and I never think to reality check when in the company of a celebrity.

Last night I was visited by Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory, not a real person I know, but thought I'd add him here.

      1. Do you see them clearly in the dreams?
I saw and heard him very clearly.

      2. Do they act like themselves or do they act like their characters in their shows or movies?
He acted just like the character from the BBT.

      3. How do you feel around them or about them?
I think we were both annoyed by each other but we eventually teamed up to get where we needed to go.

      4. Are you the star in your dream?
I started out as the star but I think the lead role became split between three of us in the dream.

      5. Why do you think you relate to them in your dream?
I think Sheldon might represent a part of my internal triad.

      1. Do you see them clearly in the dreams?
Well, yes. Almost like it wasn't a dream kind of clearly.

      2. Do they act like themselves or do they act like their characters in their shows or movies?
I always dreams about singers so... well, they act like anyone would in that dream situation, I guess. One helped me not getting killed and it was really cool but I'm not so sure if that is how the celeb would react for real?

      3. How do you feel around them or about them?
I usually have like one celeb DC that I have a thing with, so depending on what's going on if we are being chased or something I can get very protective. Of course. In one dream for example the celeb DC was a prince and I was a poor thief. I stole something to give to the DC but when I returned the DC was being attacked and all the bodygaurds were dead so I tried to fight the robbers off. But we both were an easy target because the DC just cried and was hiding behind me. So we died. But I still didn't blame the DC tho. lol.

      4. Are you the star in your dream?
Well yes, I think so. Or well, I guess I'm sharing the spotlight with the celeb DC. OR NO, he really needed to go to the bathroom once and we were walking somewhere in Rome. So I found a pay-toilet and paid for him. See? I saved him again. Guess I'm the star after all.

      5. Why do you think you relate to them in your dream?

Maybe I'm that one person that needs to be saved in IRL but just wants the be the one who saves someone just ones? Or could it be that I just like to see their music videos and stuff and they just appear because I like them? Hmm.

Shane Dawson. Is he considered a celebrity?

      1. I saw him clearly in this dream.
      2. He acted like himself, or as I expect he might act while the world teeters on the brink of alien invasion. Difference was he had a little fluffy weiner dog looking puppy.
      3. I felt like he was an old friend, we ran into each other and just went on trying to find out how to escape earth.
      4. I don't know if I was the star. I feel like Shane might have stolen the spotlight because people kept trying to get selfies with him.
      5. I'm not sure how I relate to him or what he might represent at this time. I don't even know why he appeared. I haven't watched him in ages.

Nicolas Cage. He burst onto the scene all wild eyes and gesticulation to announce the catastrophic flood was caused by a demon in a baby's body. To stop the flood we had to kill all the babies we could find.

      1. Do you see them clearly in the dreams?
      Saw him very clearly.

      2. Do they act like themselves or do they act like their characters in their shows or movies?
He probably was acting like one of his crazy movie characters.

      3. How do you feel around them or about them?
I thought he was a maniac but followed his instructions because they felt true.

      4. Are you the star in your dream?
I started out the star but he became the focus of everyone's attention, trying to be the one who brought him the demon baby.

      5. Why do you think you relate to them in your dream?
I don't think I related to him at all. As a matter of fact, I don't even know why he popped up so randomly in this dream. I haven't seen or heard anything from him in a long time.

^ With Nick Cage, I can totally see that!!

Please share your experiences with celebrities DC dreams.

      1. Yes, Most of them are very clear.
      2. Yes, most do...
      3. It depends on what the dream is about.
      4. Yes. One time, for example, I was being interrogated by Jack Nicholson. I have plenty of dreams about Celebs. Or Being in a car with Butch Hartman. I used to work for the "Butch Hartman Official Forum" as part of the staff (irl). Occasionally, AJ Locascio pops up in my dream. Sometimes, Ben Affleck, I did some extra work for a movie of his in waking life.
      5. Usually, if I relate to a famous character, it seems like an emotional attachment resulting from the story of the dream, or simply a very strong liking of their character in waking life. The other day, I saw a guy who looked like Paul Rudd who was at my local store, in my waken life (real Life). We just looked at each other. I nodded at him in respect and I wasn't going to make a big deal. Then he was in the same cash-out line behind me.

This may sound strange but, I had a dream about Stan Lee trespassing into my house. Talk about cameos, uh? We were going on vacation and Stan Lee jumped the gate and walk into our front door. He got arrested in the dream.

I was not mistaken for a celebrity, but I did manage to use dream control to make a crowd react as if I was famous. They all turned to me (floating above the crowd) and jumped up and down and cheered me.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

This is an interesting topic because you can't actually know how a celeb is like IRL unless you know them personally so the way their DC acts must be based on something else. I have celeb dreams every now and then, but not too often.

      1. Yes, I see them as clearly as any DC. So depends on the dream.

      2. Sometimes they're pure evil, sometimes they're kind and just decent people, sometimes they just...exist. So hard to say. I don't know if they're like they are IRL because I don't know them personally. Maybe. Maybe not.

      3. Like I feel about them IRL. Sometimes I learn something new about them in the dream so my feelings change, to better or worse.

      4. Depends on the dream.

      5. Before it was because I was a fan of them, now it's because I used to be their fan but aren't anymore and I'm processing that change? I don't know.

Non-Lucid: Mine last night, I was literally a celebrity. I mean, I remember doing specific things that only that person would do. In the dream, I was at a Children's Hospital with Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and Sebastian Stan. I remember I was playing hide and seek with some kids. One point, opening a door to a kindergarten classroom or something with a teacher who looked like Kim Darby. She gave me a scolding look.
Then I remember being at a cafeteria and sitting with my co-stars. I recall a bunch of little kids came up to me and asked us for autographs. I struggled with signing my (the Actor's) name with my left hand. Here is the kicker, this actor is not lefthanded though. The guy who noticed was Chris Evans who said, quote, "I thought you were right-handed?" I quickly made the excuse that my arm was bothering me because of my baseball injury while the film, "The catcher is the spy". This person who I was, hurt their self while making a movie. I'm Left-handed in real life.
It felt like he was in the dream was controlling me in some way and I wanted to write with my left hand but, it was like they didn't allow me too. It was a struggle. Almost like overshadowing. I could feel what he felt. Yes, I know that is as clear as MUD!

The other dream characters made the joke that maybe I was from an alternate universe.
However, I was not feeling well. The other cast members told me that I look like I was paler than snow. This was when the nurse or doctor came there and ordered me to drink some water, that I was dehydrated or something like that.
      Then I woke up.
I was up for a while and then, I had another dream that I was that same person. Okay, that is odd, it wasn't the exact same dream but, remember that I was at my local hospital at the main entrance. It was like the time we went to visit my sister in the hospital after the discus incident when I was little. I remember wondering the halls in the dream. Sorry about my grammar.
