      Still around and still trying

      Hi I’m LukeSid and I’m still around (75) this year. I was talking to a guy today who was a lucid dreamer and (like me) into meditation, awareness etc. All my interest in med, DMT, awareness etc was a knock-on effect of my few successful LD’s.

      Although I haven’t LD’d since doesn’t mean I won’t. It took a lot of effort by me to achieve the ones I did have and I’m not too bad health wise now (except for some breathing probs...not good for dreaming OR meditation) The point is, I’ve done it and as long as I’m alive I intend to try again.

      DMT or shrooms would give me the kick I need I think...and despite this Brit Nanny State maybe I’ll make it. I feel aware now and I see the World as it really is, and so many people ( particularly of my age) haven’t got a clue.

      I’ve started a dream log again and they are SO limp (because I live a limp existence at the moment I think) They need to ramp up if I hope to build up a log of dream patterns. As I said before, I need that mental kick in the butt...of course it’s up to me to find it.

      Never too late to LD! I'm sure it'll come back to you much easier than before.

      I too am interested in psychedelics as well. I haven't tried a lot of them or huge doses, but the small acid and mushroom trips I've had were just incredible. To know that all that can be generated from inside your own brain. It's crazy how 'dumbed' down our WL is really when you think about the potential of our minds. Although clearly we wouldn't have survived very long if we were constantly tripping!

      One thing I was wondering was whether you can simulate a drug experience in a lucid dream, especially if you have IWL and so your mind knows what it's like...

      Interesting. I am realizing now that my past experience with psychedelics could be influencing my lucid dreaming pursuit now...even though that was over 40 years ago.

      maybe try dropping some acid in your next lucid lenscaper and report back haha!
