      Question KarlaB18's Dreaming Universe - Q and A

Hey guys, first of all, sorry I haven't been very active on the forum lately. I only like to post dreams when they are all up to date. If I fall behind, then I have a bad habit of falling behind a little bit further, until I push myself to get every recap done. And then when I am up to date, I finally post. Plus also, it's week 3 of university so now I have a big study load.

Nonetheless I wanted to do something special for my fellow members. For any of you on the Discord, you've heard quite a bit about my dreaming universe and it's rules. I've decided to start up a Q and A thread so you can ask me things about my special world and I will answer it to the best of my ability. Note though that I may want to keep some ideas private so if you ask a question with that manner, then you may only get a very vague answer.

      To track questions easily. Can you type "Question #" before you start? And then the relevant answer will be "Answer #". That way we know who asked what question and what the answer is that I have given then. Example: Two members on this forum are dreamer and excellent2002, this is how the system would work;

      dreamer
Question 1: What day is it today?

      KarlaB18
      Answer 1: Sunday

      excellent2002
Question 2: What's your favourite food?

      KarlaB18
      Answer 2: Chicken soup

If I type something and it is not an answer, it will be an "ANNOUCEMENT" or "Side Note" instead.

You can ask me any question you want but in-case you're stuck, here are some of the things you can ask me about
      - Me as a dreamer
      - Dream character interactions
      - Dream locations
      - Dream guides (Dreamy WB|Team Leader, Murray & 18-Volt)
      - Dream penalties
      - Waking life journal structure
      - Recall amount
      The possibilities are endless

A massive apology if I don't get back to you in a timely manner; most likely I'm at university or just dying amongst all the work to do at home.

      Anywho; ask away!

      1. If you could have any of your dream guide's powers, which would you pick?
      2. What are some examples of "Dream penalties"?
      3. Does your dream personality differ from your real personality (if so how)?

Answer 1: I would really like the ability to fly through walls and be present in a scene without being noticed (based on Dreamy WB's ability mostly).

Answer 2: In general, the DC in concern can act out in any way, no matter what they did in real life. Sometimes, penalties can occur even if the character isn't "real" though. Dream penalties are basically another way of saying discipline. Penalties don't always have to have a punishment, they can be as small as breaking up a fight. A specific example actually took place last night and the night before.

With the night before, my former year 5 teacher was telling me to complete a work sheet although I had missed the class. She was yelling at me to do it but I was asking her "how on Earth can I do it when I wasn't there?". Then when I tried to looking at someone else's sheet to get an idea, she yelled at me too. So then I cut the teacher off and said "nope! No more, no more! You're in trouble!". And then I made an announcement, "Can Selvian please come to the classroom of 5/6H? *Repeated announcement twice*, Thank you". Then Selvian came into my house and the dream showed him telling off the teacher who then just walked off without any counteract.

The case last night is that there was some sort of police officer but he wasn't legit to me. Apparently he was getting me in trouble because I was assumed to be Indian. I ended up calling for 18-Volt. The police officer noticed though and started deleting evidence from his files (cause you know, from his evidence, 18-Volt would catch him out). I now had to race to get 18-Volt before all the evidence would be gone. Except I called so many times and nothing happened, so I start crying and I even tried for Dreamy WB. Then eventually, I called 18-Volt a million times and he came. He pulled the officer guy aside and started talking to him.

Here is an example of a penalty has not happened in dreams yet. So on Friday, I had a bad morning and someone made me cry. So here is what can happen in this case. When it gets to the dream; let's say he ignores me there or replies with something bad. Dreamy WB could be called upon and she has the ability to appear where he is. She could then take the following actions; she can pull him aside and talk to him (compassionately or harshly, however she chooses) OR she can ethically control his account and formulate a reply to me as if she was him.

Penalties must be constructive and teach the wrong-acting DC something about themselves or the dreamer. Penalties cannot be issued on impulse or violently.

Answer 3: Depending on the scene, my dream personality can be very similar to real life or it can differ greatly. With my real life personality, I have a very ambitious drive to anything I do and unfortunately when things go wrong, I can become very panicked and break easily. In the real world, I internalise a lot of things as I know there is no one that will just magically appear at your doorstep. I am a problem solver and try to suss out all the options. In the dream, I am different in that I am not as reserved, I have more freedom to act and be who I truly am. In dreams though, I am also ambitious and a problem solver and I have a very detective-like nature. I'd summarise actually that I am pretty much the same in-dream as I am in real life.

      1. If you could be one of your dream characters (personality wise) for one day who would it be and why?

Answer 4 (noted as 1 by user): You may have guessed, you may have not; I'd like to be Dreamy WB, reason is, she always knows how to get herself out of trouble in the most sensible ways. She's quick on her feet all the time and almost nothing can trick her or get by her. If I were Dreamy WB, people would also actually listen to me and take me seriously, and would actually comply straight away if they knew they were in trouble. On the other hand, I would have the advanced knowledge to understand the reasons behind why things happen and could also warn my friends if they were about to experience any shortcomings.
