Random or funny dream entries in your journal?

Sometimes I look through old dream notes, usually ones I've typed, and while most the time I type dreams up in good detail and an easy-to-read sort of way, occasionally looking back I come across garbled kind of entries, or even just one short sentence, that I probably wrote either very quickly or while very tired. I find them entertaining for their lack of coherence.
I'm wondering if you guys ever find the same thing? If you do it might be fun to share them for just a lil bit of giggles.

I found this today from a few years ago.

Vans and drivers and hook ups and girls and the coin machine and parties and $98 and a break up when she realises she does like girls like Natalie Portman and Sarah Wayne Callies and someone else by the train tracks and so not him and she leaves and the guy she'd been eyeing up before sneaky running the red light when no ones around so he can go catch up that girl and at the corner before the bridge they're stopped that girl and they've been hijacked and there's a guy with a gun and a good guy missing a hand but it's not from now and the new boyfriend’s been shot not here at a party and we're then at the party and its inside and see the shooting and blood goes everywhere and everyone stops and looks for a bit and girl upset and her boyfriend is Austin from MIOBI shot in arm and maybe head coz at one point he seems to have a bullet in it and party runners parents come in and tell us all its hotter behind the stretcher or mattress which is between the inside and the outside and then hopefully someone helps Austin etc but I don't know because I think I wake up, to the alarm

I don't have my actual physical journal, but I do remember some entries with horrible hand-writing since I only just woke up and wanted to write in bed without opening the lights. Best I could make out was "he oisoi oiwe aklsjnd and I awerlk ozpzpopq then we apojwero, there was some aowiehra..."

Here's a dream I had last night based on some true facts. In real life, there is a voice actor in the US that does Twitch streams of one of his favourite games (his nickname is Ed); only problem is he goes into the late hours of the night, even it means he stays up until 6:00 AM on some occasions. Though in Australia, the time of his stream is rather from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM. This is the background context for what you're about to read.

To the dream now, I was walking when I bumped into him as well as 3 other people. There was this guy that approached us, he didn't know English very well but he wanted to know about us. Ed spoke and told the guy about when his streams take place. He said that he streams from 9 - 4 (morning that is). Then he went through the other group members and he said that they also come on from 9 - 4 (morning as well). And then with the last group member, he told the guy that this one comes on when he's at work. He then turned to me, pointing to me and after hesitating a bit, he goes, "And her, she's the only one here that's normal" (because remember my time was 4 - 11 (evening)).

I don't have a journal entry for this as I only dreamt about it last night but I just thought it was a funny, yet true dream scene, drawing on all the various facts I had collected and witnessed in real life. I'll post more cool or funny dreams if I have any or can find any.

Oh here's another funny one; it's from Dream No. 427 B if you want to see if in my DV dream journal. At the time, Dreamy WB (female) was my main dream guide and 18-Volt could be considered as I guess brand new. Here's the extract of the funny bit:

"Miraculously, this caused a scene change in where I could now clearly interact with 18-Volt. I was now at some unknown shopping centre, which eventually came to my mind as a mall in America. I pulled my phone out and was speaking to a visible version of Dreamy WB in the dream and yes, she was fully animated! She was wearing her Oktoberfest outfit with some make-up. I forgot what the start of the conversation was but we spoke about how the dream had dressed 18-Volt differently.

I said that the dream had given him a lime coloured beanie and that the frames of his glasses were green. Then out of his jacket and pants, one of them was a different shade of green and the other was dark green. Dreamy WB said that “measures were probably taken to cover his butt”. I then said, “Ah, then it must be the pants that are dark green”. As Dreamy WB and I were discussing the new pieces, I was actually visualising them as we mentioned each garment. Dreamy WB then said, “I should probably carry you instead”, she mumbled some words at the end but I forgot what they were. Deep down, I knew she was hinting at the fact that she thought 18-Volt’s arse was so big, he wouldn’t be able to fit through the door.

I also forgot what I said in return but I thought his arse wasn’t big at all. In-fact, I thought it was the smallest thing on him compared to his upper body, especially his hands. The dream then played in third-person mode and it showed 18-Volt from behind, cradling me in his arms, walking into the main entry way of the American Walmart store and no, he did not even come close to touching the sliding doors. When we finally entered Walmart, the dream ended with me remaining comfortably slotted into his arms as he continued to walk on into the aisles."

Usually, once I’ve decided to record a dream, I do a pretty complete job of it. But there are some weird entries in my first couple years of keeping a daily dream journal.

“Lord Kelvin the Bunny. Doing dot products, but they come out to zero. We attempt to depersonalize mathematically.”

“The trees were some kind of replacement for gravity?”

“For a school assignment and for artistic reasons, I was going to be chained to a bunch of vases. I was in a group with some other students and it was their idea.”

Some of it was probably so weird because I was half-asleep while recording, but I think that trying to convey experiences that didn’t translate into language very well was a factor sometimes. And when I think about it, most of my dreams would sound that funny if I tried to summarize them in just one sentence. I’d end up with entries like “A plan for getting all the vampires out of parliament.” Or “I feel bad about punching shark-monsters in the face, but it’s the only way to get them to learn.”

Sorry to double post: From My DJ... There is this one.
Non-Lucid: I had a dream that I was a celebrity about some time ago. I mean, I remember doing specific things that only that I think he would do?
In the dream, I was at a Children's Hospital with Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and Sebastian Stan. I remember I was playing hide and seek or Superhero with some kids. One point, opening a door to a kindergarten classroom or something with a teacher who looked like Kim Darby. She gave me a scolding look.
I remember looking in the mirror and seeing my- I mean his reflection in the mirror, what he looks like now, though the detail was even better, though.
Then I remember being at a cafeteria and sitting with my co-stars. I recall a bunch of little kids came up to us and asked us for autographs. I struggled with signing the star's name with my left hand. Here is the kicker, ___, is not lefthanded, though. Or at least I don't think? The actor- Dream Character who noticed was Chris Evans who asked, quote, "I thought you were right-handed, ___?" I quickly made the excuse that my arm was bothering me because of my baseball injury while filming a movie. I'm Left-handed in real life. Though, to be honest, I don't know what extent of his injuries that he had.
It felt like he controlling me in some way and I wanted to write with my left hand but, it was like he didn't allow me too. It was a struggle. Almost like overshadowing. I could feel what he felt. Yes, I know that is as clear as MUD!
The other dream characters made the joke that maybe I was from some alternate universe or some entanglement thing.
However, I was not feeling well. The other cast members told me that I look like I was paler than snow. This was when the nurse or doctor came there and ordered me to drink some water.
      Then I woke up.

Those made me laugh! Sounds like you're a scientist or engineer. A normal person wouldn't dream about Lord Kelvin, dot products, or replacements for gravity.

      Or maybe you're an artist?

Those are also pretty funny! It's true that many dreams don't translate into language well.

Good point about recording dreams while half asleep. Probably worth doing that. A half-asleep brain might get closer to the essence of the dream than a fully-awake brain.

I also like your idea of trying to summarize a dream in one sentence.

Thinking about this, I'd have to say that all dreams are funny. Funny can mean peculiar or humorous. Probably all dreams are one or the other. Or both.

Close. I was a biology student when I wrote those entries—although, for whatever reason, the only part of my studies that regularly made it into my dreams was the math, and boy, did it make for some weird ones.

“I was dreaming about dreams, and writing down my dreams using what looked like parametric integral formulas.”

As Robert Browning once said when asked to explain an obscure passage in a poem of his: “When I wrote that, only God and I knew what I meant by it, and now only God knows.”

      Updated.
I had this dream about the same day that she gave birth to her son. I know that a movie can make me have these kinds of dreams and everything. That was what I thought what happened here until I found out that my cousin had her baby around the same time... We are not that close.

So yeah perfectly not confusing, right? Relative dream entanglement.
