Wow, I haven't posted on here in a while. Dreamviews has been kind of like my home for over a decade now. I always find myself coming back to look at old dream journals and things. Anyway, let me get to it.

Years ago, I made a post. In that post I described how I kept having dreams about my brother. They were so real and vivid. Something tragic would happen and the emotions I felt were the same emotions I would feel for any other family member. I would wake up crying because I couldn't find my bother. The only problem? I don't have a brother.

In the post I go on to say that one day I told my dad about these dreams. He says casually, "Well, you might." Imagine my eyes pop out of my skull. He says he was a sperm donor when he was younger and that he donated multiple times. This is when I knew I had to start looking... but years and years just lead to dead ends.

Fast forward to about 8 months ago. My sister takes a 23&me test and it turns up two half-siblings. Both woman. I ended up reaching out to them both on Facebook and we had interesting discussions and are now "Facebook friends.". At this point, I'm just in shock and my dad is upset because it seems he is only capable of producing girls(he had me, a girl, and my full-sister but he always wanted a son). So now he has 4 daughters.

Fast forward to last month: he takes an Ancestry test himself. Gotta love the Christmas deals. His results pop up but he's an old man and technology is not his strong suit. So I log on for him, and to my shock I find TWO MORE HALF-SISTERS. At this point I'm dumbfounded. But even more so because I haven't found the brother that I had dreamt about, the one that lead me on this journey to find my long lost family. I start a conversation with one of the women, and she tells me she's happily married and goes on to say, "I also have a full brother who is happily married and has a degree in..." MY MOUTH DROPS. "Full brother," meaning they share the same donor, MY DAD.

Last night I had to do some hardcore stalking. I looked the woman up on Facebook, which was hard because she had a common name, and then even harder was finding her brother, because they had different last names. FINALLY, I stumble across the Facebook page of a man named Peter.

Peter is my half-brother.

So, call it coincidence, call it fate, call it what you want. But to me it is insane that dreams I had 4+ years ago lead to all this. 5 half-sisters and 1 half-brother. So far...
