      What was that?

      Hey,

I had this crazy ass dream that turned up to be kinda disgusting. I donīt have much knowledge but I am still wondering.. so I post it here.. I was on a different planet in some military base with some beasts of extraterrestrial civilization in chains behind electrical fences. There was my friend there and then some of these beasts escaped, caught her and it somehow connected itself to her face.. eww.. trust me, nothing like in Alien.. she then knew almost everything about their spieces and she grabbed my forearm and held it with her hand really strong, I felt this really weird sensation like sharp and strong energy and it made me feel my hand (almost like it was my physical hand) or some other hand i dont know... I tried to pull her hand away but it was like iron grip.. finally I made it and some of us escaped from the planet afterwards. So how is that it was such real press on my hand..?

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Dreams may be in your head, but your head is still attached to your body...

Sure, Hecaloth, DC's can "touch" your body, but it is more likely that your body is reacting to the dream itself than it is a DC actually reaching into reality and touching your hand (which doesn't happen, as far as I know).

Your physical body is still attached to you, even though you are generally not aware of this during NLD's. If something dramatic happens to you in the dream, your body might just provide a little REM-Atonia-defying reaction. This happens frequently, especially during nightmares, when a dreamer's physical body might start screaming due to the scary action; it also can happen during dream sex, when a wet dream occurs due to the action. Actually feeling a hand grab yours seems a bit more rare, but if the dream is intense, your body might just create a signal that tells your physical brain that someone is touching you. Dreams can be powerfully influential events, and sometimes your body's signalling system can't help but join in the action.

It doesn't seem to be the case here, but sometimes it's your physical body that is invading your dream. For instance, you may have fallen asleep on your hand, and the posture was becoming uncomfortable, even painful, enough to send a signal into your dream. The more common of this sort of thing is when you have a dream about searching for a bathroom and wake up needing to pee (or, worse, finding a bathroom with a functional toilet and waking up in a puddle).

I support all he says but this part was my first thought. You absolutely can be both aware of a dream body and some part of your real body at the same time. It is as if you are watching a show but images from another channel are bleeding onto the screen creating ghost images. You may have become aware of your hand as Sageous suggests and then found you could not move it because you were atonic. Unable to move your arm maybe your mind created a story to fit the dream you were in.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

So far I've never actually peed when peeing in a dream, not even during a lucid dream. Thankfully my body seems to know not to actually do it when I'm sleeping.

Or maybe it was something else?
I've had a couple of standout dreams where it seems like there is something else there too.
      Not always bad :-)
I'm skeptical, but I've had a lot of dreams in my fifty-odd years, and these were... different.
